Our day was truly amazing and a large part of that was due to having it at The Holt Hotel. Me (the bride) and bridal party stayed the night before and got ready in one of the family rooms which allowed us to get ready at the same time in one room (2 make up artists and 2 to 3 hairdressers). The hotel was extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to ensure the day ran smoothly. The holt is transparent with all costs and extremely budget friendly. The hotel is beautiful and surrounded by beautiful gardens which were perfect for our photos. We got married in the church down the road and had the rest of the wedding at the hotel. Had 20 rooms for the weekend for our daughters wedding. The staff were outstanding. Emma, Petr and Sean couldn't do enough for us. Made all of our guests so welcome. They were absolutely outstanding with their management of our function. Had my daughter's wedding breakfast (approx 100 seated people) and evening reception (approx 150 people) her. Top class food and hospitality, including the level of service provided. All staff were most helpful and friendly, Emma the wedding event manager could not be more helpful and accommodating with all the arrangements for a very enjoyable and successful event for my daughter and son in law. My wife and I also stayed overnight at the hotel after the wedding reception. We found our room comfortable and having plenty of space to relax. We had our wedding at The Holt recently and were very pleased we chose the venue. The sales manager, Emma, was friendly and organised from the day of first meeting to the wedding itself. In planning the wedding, email communications were great with all questions answered along the way. The main function room was renovated fairly recently, and it was lovely. The gardens also looked great, albeit too cold to use them much on our wedding day. The food was delicious and guests gave many positive comments.
