We had the most perfect day from start to finish. The staff were attentive, everything seemed a breeze, and we didn't have to worry about a thing on the day. A special mention goes to Beth, our coordinator, and the rest of the team, who did an outstanding job of keeping everything running smoothly and always had our cups filled. The food was exceptional, and all our guests commented on how delicious it all was—particularly the steak and chips canapés and the generous portion sizes of the three-course meal. The evening grazing board buffet was also a big hit, and everyone couldn't get over how tasty it was. As for the grounds, they made a perfect backdrop for our ceremony and celebrations. Guests loved wandering the gardens and capturing their own moments in between the fun of the day. Other positives include the online portal, which made planning and communicating with the venue so easy. We got married at the Gardens as a "destination" wedding from Canada. The main reasons we picked the Gardens were the quiet, tranquil and beautiful setting, as well as the venue offering a lot as a "package" (canapes, food, DJ, bar, day of coordinator) which made it a lot easier to plan from Canada and very stress-free. We had the absolute best Saturday wedding in May at the Gardens. The venue was stunning and being able to have the various elements of the day in different places was perfect. Having the dressing room on site was a lovely way to start the day and the ceremony in the orchards was gorgeous and rustic. The Gardens team are so friendly, responsive and thoughtful throughout, from booking the venue and particularly on the day. No request was too much and they took everything in their stride, meaning no stress for us. When you book the Gardens you are assigned an event manager, who essentially acts as an unofficial wedding planner on the day and is great for guidance on the lead up too. Beth was making sure everything ran on time and people knew where they needed to be, so that we didn’t have to. This was a standout feature for us and contributed to us feeling like the day was really good value for money. We had great compliments from all our guests on the food, which was served flexibly around our speeches. Our one and only comment is that due to noise restrictions our band couldn’t use a full drum kit. This was a shame but in the end did not impact our day at all.
