We honestly could not have wished for a better venue for our wedding day. The setting is very special, in a small hamlet set high in the Cotswolds countryside, with stunning views. Our experience and anticipation of the day was made all the better by the expert support provided by their event planner, Natalie, who thought of everything, and brought to life exactly the day we wanted. We had the feasting menus which made for a really friendly atmosphere and the quality was outstanding - some guests remarked that it was the best food they had had out anywhere. To cater to such a standard, and at scale (70 guests) is really something. Having accommodation on site was a huge plus - we arrived the previous afternoon and felt like we were in a special pre-wedding world from the moment we arrived! The location is wonderful, the venue cosy but high-end, the food was incredible and the team were superb at service. Everything came together beautifully and from the moment our guests arrived they had cocktails Ava champagne, then after the ceremony fantastic canapés, drinks, then a three course dinner where every plate was perfect. We celebrated our wedding at The Feathered Nest this October, and choosing this venue was truly one of the best decisions we made. The entire day felt magical from start to finish. As locals, we already knew how special this place was, but experiencing it as our wedding venue exceeded every expectation. The whole team was exceptional. They were professional, warm, and incredibly supportive throughout the planning journey and on the big day itself. Rachel, our event planner, was fantastic. Her attention to detail and calm organisation meant we were able to fully relax and trust that everything was in safe hands. Our guests are still raving about the food. Head Chef James and his talented kitchen team created dishes that were absolutely outstanding, and the service from the waiting staff was faultless. A special mention must go to Adam, the owner, who went above and beyond for us. From bringing breakfast to my bridesmaids and me on the wedding morning, to helping guests with anything they needed, to even carrying my dress as I walked down the aisle! His kindness and attentiveness were unforgettable. We are so grateful to everyone at The Feathered Nest for making our wedding day EVERYTHING we hoped for and more.
