We got married at the Farmhouse at Redcoats in August 2026 and we are still obsessed with this place. It was the very first venue we looked at and we didn't need to look any further, it ticked all our boxes from that first visit. The barn and farmhouse are gorgeous and so well looked after, (if you love a warm, rustic, full-of-character vibe, this is it). The location is quiet and peaceful, like a proper countryside escape. There's also plenty of parking and 26 bedrooms on site which was honestly dreamy — everyone could just relax and enjoy the day and breakfast the next day was such a cherry on top. Charlie B showed us round on our first visit and then ended up being with us the whole way through planning — she and the rest of the planning and events team are an absolute dream to work with. Every single staff member we met through the process was lovely, switched on, and just genuinely seemed to care about our day from the big stuff to the little details. They also coordinated our suppliers really well and had some great recommendations for suppliers that they work with a lot. We loved that they offer both indoor and outdoor ceremony options — we really wanted an outdoor ceremony and so opted for the Grainstore, but we were worried at first about the weather causing chaos (who knew it would have been heatwave rather than rain?!). In the end though we weren't even remotely stressed about the weather (rain or heatwave!) because the team talked us through exactly how everything would switch to the barn if needed, and how the covered outer bar area can be closed up against the elements too. Also — the food. THE FOOD. We stayed for dinner after our first tour and that basically sealed the deal there and then. So much of what they serve is grown in their own no-dig garden and honestly you can taste it, it's next level. We LOVE that we'll be able to come back to eat dinner and reminisce year after year. All in all they made the whole planning process fun instead of s

I don't know if words are enough to say how incredible this venue is, but I'll do my best. My Husband and I recently got married here and it truly was the best day of our lives thanks to the most amazing, kind and above and beyond team at Redcoats. We had done a lot of research on Wedding Venues, and Redcoats was actually the first (and last) one we viewed, because honestly, even in our first show round with the lovely Megan, it was nothing but green flags. As we went through our meetings/planning etc, we could just tell that these guys absolutely know what they're doing. I have been in hospitality for over a decade, run and worked many weddings and events myself over the years, so when I turned up with all the questions, Megan had pretty much an identical list, so I knew we would be in safe hands. The most amazing thing we both felt about Redcoats is that despite how many weddings they have here, you feel like the only one. The level of care, attention to detail, and the excitement they have about your big day is joyous, and infectious. We never once felt like just another wedding on their schedule. Also...the FOOD! OMG the food, delicious! It's all farm to fork and you can tell. I could go on for pages and pages about this amazing place, but honestly, if you're on the fence about going down to have a look for your

What a day we had!! We cannot thank Charlie & the wider events team enough, they were the backbone of our perfect wedding day! I genuinely believe our venue was one of our best decisions around our wedding, the team at Redcoats were amazing from start to finish which allowed all of our vendors to do their thing and for ourselves and our guests to have the best day. From the moment we requested a quote and our wedding date to be held we never felt pressured into booking there, the team answered all of our questions and adjusted the quote so we could make an informed decision. Charlie (& the wider events team) were incredible on the day, at no point did we feel unsure about what was going on or felt that we had to step away from our day to check on things. It was truly perfect. Our guests are still saying how amazing the staff were, we had pregnant and alcohol-free guests who were served alcohol free toast wine and the servers remembered who they were so they could offer non-alcoholic alternatives. It’s the little details! The barns were beautiful on the day, and the team worked with our MC to have a hilarious surprise! The bar was well staffed so there were no long waits for drinks! We wanted a pretty simple day and there was no pressure or expectation from the team to make it more extravagant, they made the day exactly as we envisioned, the tables were set up beautifully, the band had everything they needed and all of our guests were well cared for! The rooms were all clean and beautifully presented, some of the guests even made a note of the make of mattress to buy for their own homes. One of our guests is a wheelchair user and we had a couple of guests with additional needs, and the venue was very accessible and the team answered all our questions and showed us the rooms to ensure they were accessible. It was such a relief to not worry about the accessibility needs on our day as we knew the team had it covered! The food was spectacular, we had so many compliments on it! We had a variety of dietary requirements and allergies, which were all taken care of and not a problem! The evening food went down a treat as well, having it next to the dance floor is the best idea - we had guests dancing whilst eating pizza and tacos without having to leave the floor! Our day was no one-off, after our wedding we had so many people reach out who had attended weddings at Redcoats, all of them said what a wonderful venue it was! If you are considering a wedding here we could not recommend it enough!! Our day went smoot

We got married at Redcoats in July 2026 and are so grateful to the team for giving us the most magical and special day. Here are the reasons we initially chose Redcoats as our wedding venue: - Its beautiful garden space for an outdoor ceremony. - The stunning on site accommodation (we had lots of family and friends travelling from afar). - The exclusivity of the venue (no other events or weddings were taking place on site that day other than ours). - It is dog friendly so our dog could attend as our ring bearer! - The great food! We are self-confessed foodies and so visited the restaurant ahead of booking our wedding to scout out the food and it did not disappoint. And here are all of the reasons we would recommend Redcoats to everyone, not just couples who have the same criteria we did above: From first viewing the venue, all the way through to after the wedding, we received the best customer service we could have asked for. Our calls / emails were always promptly responded to by the events team and we were able to visit the venue whenever we wanted ahead of the wedding, with one of the team always available to us if needed. 8 weeks out to the wedding day, Megan was assigned as our personal event coordinator, which meant all correspondence from then onwards would go through her and she was the coordinator on the day of the wedding. As Megan happened to be the person who showed us round Redcoats when we first expressed interest, it felt like she was our own personal wedding planner! We cannot sing her praises loud enough; she knew the answer to every question we had at every meeting, she was an excellent listener and it felt like she said yes to everything we asked for and could advise on everything we weren’t sure about. At the end of every phone call, meeting or email, she would send us back an updated function sheet which held every detail of our wedding, and made us feel like we didn’t need to keep track of anything because Megan had it all organised and recorded. She gave us full confidence that every little detail that was discussed was noted and would be actioned on the day (right down to ensuring the Brides grandfather had a gluten free peroni and the Grooms mother had a still elderflower toasting drink at the wedding breakfast – it was tiny details like that which meant a lot to our special guests). We were invited to a group menu tasting evening in the Barns to make our food choices for the wedding breakfast. The team had planned such a fun evening, where we were able to try the wines, cocktails and canapes as well as the food. It was lovely to meet other couples getting married there too. The venue even brought along a selection of their recommended suppliers and had the fabulous DJ Mike Readings MC the evening and Sarah Maylin flowers represented. It is safe to say we booked both Mike and Sarah Maylin who were fantastic. We also went with venue recommendations for our cake, photographer and hair and make up who were also incredible (Darling Bouqcake, Erica Hawkins and Alexander Wedding Belles). We did try to find suppliers independently, but when we looked into it closely, all of the venue recommended suppliers appeared to be excellent and working with suppliers who already knew the venue and the staff at Redcoats just made everything so easy! On our wedding day everyone worked together seamlessly and did such an incredible job. Megan and the events team were highly praised by all of our suppliers when we first mentioned Redcoats at all of our meetings, and it is clear that the team of people working tirelessly behind the scenes at every wedding is what makes this such a strong venue. Shoutout to all of the bar, kitchen and serving staff on the day of the wedding as well who did such a slick and professional job! In terms of value for money, the venue hire (including the ceremony) cost £4,500 and we both feel that in such a highly saturated and pricey wedding market, where picking a wedding venue can feel very overwhelming, this was nothing short of a bargain. When you pair that cost with the exceptional and personal customer service that we received, we truly feel so lucky that we chose Redcoats. We felt like we were the only couple they were planning a wedding for this summer. If you want a gorgeous setting, beautiful hotel rooms, good food and a team of people who genuinely care about your wedding, then

We got married here in May 2026 and had the best day of our lives. We originally chose the venue for the setting, food and location, but it was the service from Megan, Charlie and Charlie and the rest of the team that made the day as special as it was. The service they offer is exceptionally well-run and meant we had no qualms or worries on the big day. Not to

Redcoats has won several awards for being the best wedding venue around and it’s easy to see why! We couldn’t recommend the Barns at Redcoats more to couples! The team, especially our coordinator Charli, were just incredible. They were so attentive throughout the planning process and on the day. Having over 20 rooms for our guests was such a luxury for those who travelled from afar, along with bridal and grooms party. Having breakfast all together the following day was a lovely time to reflect and discuss the day. The food throughout the day was amazing, and a huge part of

We had an exceptional experience hosting our wedding at this venue. From the initial planning stages through to the day itself, everything was managed with professionalism, care, and meticulous attention to detail. The event ran seamlessly, allowing us to fully enjoy the occasion with complete peace of mind. The venue was presented beautifully, and many of our guests commented on how impressive it looked, as well as on the high quality of the food. We are especially grateful to Charlie and the events team, whose calm, organised approach and willingness to assist with every detail made the entire process feel effortless. We would not change a single thing. The day exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are incredibly thankful t

The Barns at Redcoats was simply the best wedding venue. We knew it was the venue for us from the first visit to one of the open days. And it more than lived up to our expectations. Charlie and her team went above and beyond to ensure our special day went without a hitch. Before the wedding, Charlie responded quickly to any emails, and invited us in for coffee whenever we had any questions and concerns ahead of our special day. She also arranged for a second wedding breakfast tasting after a couple of mishaps at the first tasting. We couldn’t have wished for a better wedding coordinator 😊 On the day, the venue was absolutely beautiful, our suppliers were all dealt with by the team so we didn’t need to worry about a thing, and the canapés and wedding breakfast were fantastic. And our guests had the best time. It was also great that all o

Wow.... Our day was simply perfect!! The Farmhouse didn’t just meet expectations—they exceeded them. From the first conversation to the final moment of the night, the team handled everything with total professionalism and a “whatever you need, we’ll sort it” attitude. Every request was handled with no fuss and nothing was too much!! Charlie B ran the day with precision. Timings were tight, transitions were seamless, and her and the team stayed two steps ahead so we never had to worry about a thing- they knew what we needed before we did and were there to make it all happen! The staff were attentive and so friendly, they got involved with the atmosphere of the day whilst remaining organised, and genuinely invested in making the day perfect. In the lead up to the wedding, Charlie was on hand whenever we needed her, whether that was a last minute planning meeting or returning a phone call to answer yet another question I had come up with. She was super calm and accommodating with last-minute tweaks I made (literally the day before), supported external suppliers with additional setup, and did all this being focused on delivering a flawless experience. The venue itself was stunning, but the team behind it is what makes it exceptional. If you want

We have just had our amazing day at Redcoats and could not recommend more highly. From booking until the big day everyone (especially Charlie B) were so helpful and accommodating. We did a few things they hadn't done before and they were always so helpful in making things work. The food and drink were incredible (we opted for BBQ), the service was fantastic and it was so great that guests could stay on site so that we could have breakfast together the next day. We got married in July at Redcoats and it was just perfect. Charlie and the team went above and beyond - it did not go unnoticed by us or any of the guests, they are all incredible at their jobs and every single thing was perfect! They picked up on things that we hadn’t even thought of, anticipated every single one of our needs on the day and really showcased the hard work we put into the planning. It was more than we could ever of hoped for. There are really too many incredible things to call out individually - but something that was very meaningful was the time and care in the run up but more importantly on the day around allergens. We had a few gluten-intolerant and other allergens and they all said it was the best wedding they had ever been to because they could eat so much and had so much reassurance! For two foodies this means a lot to us.
