We fell head over heels in love with this hidden gem the first time we met Jason and immediately knew this was the venue for us and our wedding was in safe hands. Jason is so competent, knowledgeable and easy to work with. From the moment we booked to this day.In the months leading up to our big day, Jason, Niamh and Simon could not have been more helpful and accommodating, always prompt to respond to any queries. We were always made feel so special and that our wedding was unique and important to them. Our wedding menu tasting in The Grill Restaurant was an outstanding experience. Our family and friends were made feel so welcome and it truly was a home away from home. Mark and I are both lost for words on how to describe the service on the wedding day but it completely exceeded all our expectations. From early morning to late that night, both Jason and Niamh checked in with us regularly throughout the day to make sure everything was going ok for us. They were there to wish us off to the cathedral and welcome us back for the celebrations. Our guests are still commenting on how beautiful the grounds and hotel looked and most importantly how amazing the food was. We cannot complement the chef and kitchen staff enough for the quality of food that was presented. All the staff are so genuine and courteous and went above and beyond at all times. From my very first appointment at the hotel, during the many visits from London in the planning stages and on the weekend itself, the service and attention to detail that we experienced was highly impressive. From the moment we picked the Dunloe as our wedding venue, the service we received was 5 star. On the lead up to the wedding we were treated like VIP’s by Jason, Niamh and all of the Dunloe staff. The staff could not be more helpful and really make you feel at home. From the food, quality wine, accommodation and room layout the Dunloe is second to none. On the wedding day itself, the service and presentation of the hotel, the reception and the dining room was impeccable. There was no stress organising our wedding as Jason and Niamh took care of everything. We had an elderly parent and grandparents with us who needed wheelchair assistance. On a few occasions throughout the evening Niamh was a huge help and went out of her way for them. The food and ambience at the reception and at the dinner itself was amazing, all our family and friends are still raving about it 3 weeks later. From the very first day when we visited for our initial wedding consultation to the big day, the staff at this hotel have been nothing short of amazing! Both myself and my husband were very familiar with the hotel before choosing it as our wedding venue, however we were still blown away by the level of professionalism displayed by all staff members going from front desk to kitchen staff, bar staff, accommodation and everywhere in between. My husband and I got married in Killarney in June 2019. We had our ceremony at St Mary's Cathedral and our wedding reception at The Dunloe Hotel & Gardens. We live in London and Jason and Niamh made it so easy for us organising a wedding from overseas. From the first email to Jason about The Dunloe being our potential wedding venue, to Jason meeting us and taking us through all the details and then finalising all the parts for our big day, there was nothing too much trouble or too big an ask. They made us, along with all our family and friends feel so welcome (we had 200 guests fly over from the UK). Everything was 5* perfection and luxury. The Friday night we had drinks in The Bar and the atmosphere was amazing. The day of the wedding was seemless; Jason, Niamh and all their staff are perfectionists and are so well organised. ?????????? One year ago I got married at the Dunloe Hotel. We were not from Kerry and our wedding was a little different from the average. We rented the beautiful Beaufort House for the week. But we had planned to do a marquee in garden. The Dunloe hotel had just been refurbished and was only around the corner from where we were staying. As the marquee was not a runner in the end. We last minute literally contacted the Dunloe. The staff at the Dunloe were just amazing. My wife dreams came through. It’s very hard to have a 5 star wedding venue that can make you feel relaxed and be as friendly as they were. The Dunloe is something very special. We got first class service. The kids were fed first and then taken off for a camp so the adults got time to themselves (this was priceless as we had 30 children). There was nothing the Dunloe couldn t do. My husband and I got married here on 3rd May and it was the best day! We are living in New York and when we got engaged we anticipated that it maybe difficult to plan a wedding from abroad but the minute we met with Jason we knew we had chosen the perfect hotel. Both Jason and Niamh were fantastic to deal with on the lead up to our big day. From the minute we arrived at the hotel for our drinks reception everything went so seamlessly and we were able to really enjoy our day knowing that everything was being taken care of so well. Both Niamh and Jason checked in with us regularly throughout the night to make sure everything was going okay for us and this was such a nice touch. We received so many compliments from our guests in regards to the hotel and the service provided that day. One of the main feedbacks we received was how exceptional the food was and how much they enjoyed their meal. June 2nd we married in Fossa church followed by a reception that exceeded all of our expectations @the Dunloe Hotel & Gardens. Our wedding (the first in the newly refurbished hotel) was spectacular from start to finish. This venue is in a league of its own, so beautiful, the new decor is so classy & trendy, the views are breathtaking, the staff & standard of service oozes 5star training & attention to detail, the food was to die for. The drinks reception area with an outdoor garden terrace is amazing especially in the sunshine. The Park Suite function room with floor to ceiling glass views of the surrounding countryside & beautiful horses in the gardens is magical on a summers day. After our delicious meal we had a BBQ pig on a spit out on the balcony close to midnight that left our guests watering at the mouth. We got married in this beautiful hotel with stunning grounds on September 29th and honestly our day was more than we both could ever have wished for. The hotel itself is spectacular especially since it’s recent refurbishment. The hotel staff were superb In the whole run up to the wedding and on the day they were so attentive to both us and all our guests. Cannot praise this hotel and its staff enough for being the backbone in making our wedding weekend one to remember. The venue itself is stunning and comfortable, the food is faultless and the staff really did go above and beyond to ensure that us, our families and our guests felt welcomed into the hotel. Given that we live in Australia, arranging for a wedding in Ireland should have probably been a bit of a nightmare. Jason and Kayla made it a walk in the park. on the day we ran an hour behind, In hindsight this must have been a nightmare to Jason and the crew who were looking after the planning of secret fireworks that were to go off after the meal! But they never let on for a second that we were being awkward, and if they were stressing out they hid it well! They seemed to just roll with our night and made sure every detail ran absolutely perfect. Everywhere you went there was a friendly face telling you what parts of Killarney and the grounds of the hotel to explore and making sure you didn’t need anything. i was really impressed that the very same standard arrived out to 150 guests that night, hats off to the staff.We decided to have our day 2 in the Dunloe as well and again, people are still talking about it! We had a barbecue and pig on the spit - but not like any barbecue I have ever been at before! Everything the Dunloe presented was top notch and definitely far more then I ever would have imagined a hotel would offer for a wedding weekend. If your thinking about the Dunloe as a wedding venue, don’t hesitate, I really can’t recommend it highly enough.
