The Cottage Hotel is a small, independently owned hotel and we only ever host one wedding at a time. The hotel is wrapped around a beautiful central courtyard and boasts two more picturesque gardens, packed with photo opportunities. Unusually for venues our size, we also have 21 individually decorated bedrooms, including 2 bridal suites for you to choose from. Our high ceilings and cosy corners are the perfect blend of old and new. The Cottage Hotel is the ideal setting for your wedding day. Facilities and Capacity Couples can choose to host their wedding ceremony and reception in the main ballroom, which can host a maximum of 90 guests for a ceremony and formal dinner and up to 160 for an evening buffet. A vaulted ceiling with exposed wooden beams and chandeliers adds a rustic elegance to your celebration while the large windows provide plenty of natural light and doors lead directly into the courtyard. For smaller celebrations, our smaller dining room can host up to 30 guests, making it an ideal setting for more close-knit gatherings. Services Offered We offer a variety of packages designed to take the stress out of your planning and provide everything that you may want/need for your special day. We can also price bespoke or add additional services to one of our existing packages for you. We prepare all our food freshly on site and are always happy to work with couples to create a bespoke menu when required. The Cottage Hotel is a dog-friendly setting, allowing couples to incorporate their four-legged friends into their big day.The team has over a decade of experience in delivering bespoke wedding celebrations, and will make sure that your dream wedding isn't an off-the-shelf affair. I highly recommend this incredible venue. We used their Sapphire package with 16 guests (has capacity for 25) and it was so intimate yet so special. The minute we saw The Cottage Hotel and met the wedding co-ordinator, we knew we wanted our wedding ceremony and reception here, and we are so incredibly happy we did! We had seen a number of bigger corporate wedding venues and were put off by the cost, lack of choice/flexibility with food and the feel of the venues. The Cottage Hotel was so perfect for us with its character, homely feel and friendly staff who made us feel so welcome and at home. Right from the start all the staff were so attentive, professional and committed to making our wedding as special as we envisioned it to be. The Wedding planner is very experienced and sat down with me and went through the timings of whole day and worked with us and our budget to ensure we kept within it. Our special day could not have gone any better.The ceremony went perfectly, we chose to have a BBQ for our wedding breakfast meal which was superb followed by an evening buffet when our evening guests arrived, the chefs and kitchen staff are amazing.
