We had the best time celebrating our wedding at the Cliff. From the moment we started planning, the team were incredibly helpful, attentive and professional, making what could have been a stressful process feel so much easier. A special mention has to go to our wedding coordinator, Casey, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. Casey was always approachable, helpful and reassuring, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Having someone so organised and supportive guiding us through the planning made such a difference and gave us real confidence that our day was in safe hands. As someone who plans events for a living I thought i would have it all down but Casey gave us reminders on so many of the little things, she was genuinely so helpful. She was incredible on the day too, gently reminding us what to do next whilst we were having fun and being in the moment. The wedding tasting was also a real highlight. The team were incredibly helpful and patient, taking the time to talk us through the different options and allowed us to make slight tweaks to the dishes we had chosen. It was lovely to be able to try everything beforehand. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views that provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding and pictures. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be. We have so many incredible memories from our day and couldn’t recommend the venue highly enough to anyone considering it for their wedding. From the moment we asked Amity Hayward to plan our big day,we knew that we were in the hands of a true professional. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue or a better team. From start to finish, everything was absolutely incredible. Our wedding coordinator, Amity, was amazing throughout the whole process. She was so professional, nothing was ever too much trouble, and she was always there to answer any questions we had. Having never planned a wedding before, we really didn’t have a clue where to start, but Amity guided us through every step and made the whole process feel so easy and stress-free. Whenever we met with her, she had the answers to everything we asked and thought of all the little details we wouldn’t have even considered ourselves. She also gave us some lovely ideas to help make our day even more special. We did have a small snag on the day when our DJ arrived much later than expected, but Amity was so calm and reassuring throughout. She immediately put me at ease and dealt with everything behind the scenes, which meant I didn’t have to worry and could just enjoy the day. Everything was so organised from beginning to end and we always felt completely reassured that everything was taken care of. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, but the hotel and staff were just as fantastic. I stayed in the luxury suite the night before the wedding and it was absolutely incredible, and the bridal suite afterwards was just as beautiful. Both rooms were spotless, beautifully presented and really added to the whole experience. Every member of staff we dealt with was friendly, helpful and professional. We also had a large booking for dinner on the Thursday evening before the wedding, and the gentleman looking after us was brilliant. Everything ran perfectly and nothing was too much trouble. The food on our wedding day also deserves a special mention. We had so many guests come up to us to tell us how amazing the food was and how much they had enjoyed it. It was lovely hearing so many compliments and knowing our guests had enjoyed it just as much as we did. The whole day ran seamlessly and we were able to just enjoy ourselves knowing everything was being taken care of behind the scenes. We had an amazing wedding day at The Cliff Hotel and couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our special day. As we live locally, The Cliff Hotel was the perfect venue for us. It was also just a five-minute drive from St Pedrog Church in Ferwig, where we got married, which made everything so convenient for us and our guests. Our wedding at The Cliff Hotel was an absolute dream. Casey, the Weddings and Events Manager, made everything seamless for us from the first meeting until the end of the wedding night. I don’t know if we have ever met anyone better suited to their job. She cares about every little detail and made sure the agenda was sorted so you don’t have to worry about anything on the day. If you are reading this review you already know the location is stunningly beautiful (and we have cherished wedding pictures to show that). Literally couldn’t have chosen a better venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, Casey and the whole team were so organised, helpful and clear about what was needed and when, which took so much of the stress out of wedding planning. They were incredibly flexible and accommodating with all of our requests, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. So many of our guests told us it was one of the best weddings they’d ever been to, and they attributed a lot of that to the venue. We were incredibly fortunate to be able to get married outside, but we always felt reassured knowing the indoor option was equally beautiful. This took away so much of the pressure around the weather, as we knew we had a fantastic alternative if we needed it. The venue was also amazing value for money. Although the hotel is open to the public, you have your own private part of the hotel for your wedding. This means you get the privacy and feel of an exclusive venue, without having to pay the huge exclusivity fees we found with other venues. One thing I particularly loved about The Cliff was that we agreed on a package upfront and, as we got closer to the wedding, if we decided we didn’t want something, it simply came off the overall cost. There were no nasty hidden costs being added at the last minute… for example, we decided to remove desserts from the evening food, and this was simply deducted from our final bill. From our very first meeting to the final moments of the day, she was organised, supportive, calm, and incredibly reassuring. So many of our guests commented on the quality, presentation, and flavour of every course, and it was clear that a great deal of thought and skill had gone into the menu. The staff throughout the hotel were also outstanding. Every member of the team we encountered was warm, friendly, and professional, and they went out of their way to make both us and our guests feel genuinely welcome and well looked after. From the bar staff and waiting team to reception and housekeeping, everyone contributed to the relaxed and joyful atmosphere. Many of our guests commented on how attentive and accommodating the staff were, which made the day feel even more special. It was clear throughout our stay how much care and pride they take in the hotel and in ensuring couples have the best possible experience. The breathtaking coastal views provided the perfect backdrop for our outdoor ceremony and photographs, while the hotel had a relaxed yet elegant atmosphere throughout the day. The rooms were comfortable, spotless, and beautifully presented. It was wonderful for us and our guests to be able to stay on site and continue the celebrations without having to travel afterwards. We reserved 30 rooms for our large family, and having everyone together in one place was a major factor in choosing this venue. It made the entire experience even more special and memorable. We would highly recommend turning your wedding into a long weekend if you can. Staying at the hotel for a few extra days gave us precious time with our immediate family that we wouldn’t otherwise have had. The most perfect venue you could ask for. They have the best wedding coordinators. Amity helped the day go absolutely perfect and smoothly and was on hand on the run up to answer any questions or queries. There was not a single hiccup throughout the whole day, all the staff were absolutely amazing and attentive. We had a perfect wedding at the Cliff Hotel and Spa in Cardigan west wales. It was an intimate micro wedding with only 11 of us there. Our wedding venue and wedding planner at the cliff hotel was amazing from the very beginning of planning our special day up to the day itself. Nothing was too much, they were so professional and responsive and did all they could to make our day special. The venue was stunning, including our ceremony room and the room we had our wedding breakfast, Casey made the whole thing just gorgeous. The food was amazing and the accommodation fantastic i just can't praise them enough. We would highly recommend anyone has there wedding at the cliff from tiny small weddings like ours to big events, nothing was too much and they were so kind friendly and professional throughout.
