I don’t even know where to start. We are so glad we choose blakelands to celebrate our wedding day. From the initial first viewing we hadn’t even got back to the car and I said to my now husband this is where I want to get married. Thankfully he agreed. Being the kind of bride who questioned everything after we booked it I didn’t question the venue once. We cannot thank all the staff enough for all their help from leading up to the wedding, the day before, the wedding day and even the next morning. Nothing was ever to much trouble for them. All invoices were clearly explained, Chloe gets back to your emails promptly answering all your questions along the way. The venue and grounds are truly beautiful. All the guests commented how much of a beautiful venue it is with stunning grounds. Thanks to Paul and Heather the day ran really smoothly and we always knew what was happening. The food was out of this world. Everyone commented on how nice and flavoured the food was with such good portion sizes. Couple of guests commented it was the best wedding they had been to and was so well organised and this is all down to the staff at the Blakelands. We honestly cannot recommend the Blakelands

The Blakelands is the most amazing wedding venue and we knew we wanted to get married there from pretty much the moment we drove into the car park. The venue itself has so much character with lots of different spaces for guests, and lovely locations for photos. The whole process from booking, to the day of the wedding felt completely stress free, and no request or question was too much to ask. The day itself was absolutely perfect and incredibly organised. Everyone says something will go wrong on your wedding day but nothing did, and that is thanks to the whole team at the Blakelands. We are so pleased we booked Blakelands for our special day and cannot thank every member of staff enough for all the hard work they put into ensuring it ran smoothly. As a "type A" bride who likes to be in control of everything. I can honestly say I turned up on the day with the full knowledge that I could completely let go and relax on the morning. They were very thorough in getting all the details for exactly how we wanted the day beforehand. We had a few guests tell us they couldn't attend last minute, it was never any trouble for them to reshuffle the tables so there was no empty seats! Staff were also great at checking in throughout the morning to see how we were getting on with getting ready and ensured the day ran on time. The day itself was beautiful and every single one of my guests were blown away with just how lovely venue it was! They are a licenced venue and had a lot of in-house services which made planning the wedding super easy. We spent the whole day at Blakelands, with the bridal party getting ready in the loft and the groom's party getting ready in the bridal suite (I hear theres a grooms suite in the pipeline!). The ceremony was held in the walled gardens and it was set up beautifully - we used their in-house dressing team which reduced the stress of getting an external vendor in! For food we had the in-house caterers the Mexican Cantina buffet and stone baked pizzas on the night for food options which were divine and everyone loved them! We also booked the in-house DJ who did an amazing job of making sure everyone was on the dance floor all night long. He played the requests my guests had made prior, which was a huge mix of music from classics to more heavier rock and he balanced the mix in styles well! At the end of the night, we fell into the comfiest bed in the bridal suite and woke up to a lovely breakfast in the morning with friends and family! We honestly cannot recommend Blakelands enough - if you are looking for a beautiful venue with an amazing team who will put their all into making your wedding day special, look no further! Well what can I say about The Blakelands, my wife and I visited Blakelands around 3 years ago to look for the perfect wedding venue and honestly we didn’t need to look anywhere else once we had stepped out the car to a opening day, The Blakelands country house was the one ! We booked straight away, we planned for 3 years for our perfect day and we got just that. Blakelands were fantastic every step of the way, from the initial booking all the way up to the morning after the wedding when we left. They literally couldn’t do enough for you, staff were all friendly and fab at what they do. Everything ran smoothly on the day and it was all thanks to the staff. We booked our wedding just 6 months in advance - as soon as we viewed Blakelands our heart was set on this venue. After securing our date Blakelands supported us every step of the way - they supplied a list of vendors we could use and were always quick to respond to any queries we had. The grounds of Blakelands are absolutely beautiful and you have so many different ceremony options whether you want an indoor or outdoor occasion. We used the bridal loft on the morning of the wedding and it was the perfect place to get the day started. Everything was clean and private and helped the day run so smoothly. Once the day started everything ran so smoothly and staff were always on hand to ensure both bride and groom were ok. Everything was faultless and all of our guests also loved the food and venue. We stayed in the honeymoon suite and upon arrival all of our things were ready and waiting for us. After being married at The Blakelands back in 2006, we decided to renew our wedding vows for our 20th anniversary. Instantly, we knew that The Blakelands was the only place to hold such a memorable event. Already holding a special place in our hearts, the second time around was even more wonderful. Being looked after again by Paul and Heather, along with the rest of the team - our day was perfect from start to finish. Not only is the venue beautiful, the organisation, decoration, food and attentiveness of all of the staff was incredible. We have created memories that will last our lifetime. We had such a lovely day celebrating our wedding at Blakelands, right from the start they were so easy to plan the day with for our wedding of 100 guests. The staff kept the day running seamlessly and really made the day stress free for us. The Blakelands was the most incredible wedding venue from start to finish- from the moment we booked, to the moment we left the day after our wedding! There was constant communication through emails and we were kept in the loop throughout! The staff are amazing- they all know what they are doing, what needs doing well and make the whole experience seamless. We had the Hen Package- which was defo worth it, meaning we had access to the loft the night before the opportunity for the Bridal party to just relax. The wedding say itself was MAGICAL! Bridal party got ready in the loft, Groom's party had breakfast and a room to get ready, kept informed throughout the morning of vendors arriving and everything going to plan, the ceremony went perfectly (outdoors), the wedding meal was beautiful and the evening was brilliant and fun!

Booked 2 years in advance so after the initial booking we didn’t have too much correspondence which is fine as the important details were booked in at the appropriate times, however if I did need to ask anything it was always answered. On the actual wedding day all the staff from Paul, Heather and Samuel to all onsite staff were brilliant, I’d mention one lady in particular but I didn’t catch her name however she took a last minute picture in the loft and was just so lovely and kind all day and at breakfast the next day, hopefully if she reads this she knows it’s her! Everything we bought to have set up for the ceremony and wedding breakfast was placed just as we asked, loved the little touch of a pizza each being delivered to our room at the end of the evening too so we didn’t miss out on the evening food (which was pizza) - it was thoroughly enjoyed! We had a brilliant time. The only thing I’d say we were sad to miss out on was a ‘taster’ evening, the only one offered to us was a couple of weeks

We planned our Winter wedding in just 10 weeks with the expert help of Paul, Heather, Chloe and the team. Their experience and guidance was exceptional and helped make our day go very smoothly. They advised us step by step either in person, or by telephone or email. All our guests loved our venue, from the beautiful rooms which were decorated with tasteful Christmas decorations, to the fab food, the amazing scenery and the friendliness from all the staff who were on duty. We took advantage of all the guest accommodation, which was perfect for our friends who had travelled far or those who lived closer and just fancied a nights stay. When it comes to weddings Blakelands is unmatched. Blakelands is a fantastic wedding venue and we couldn't recommend them enough. The Blakelands team met our every need from the moment we booked our wedding in 2024 right up until our wedding day itself. Any query we had, regardless of how long or short was resolved professionally within a short time frame. Every person we spoke to were genuinely surprised at how relaxed we were regarding our wedding planning, we feel that this was entirely down to the fantastic organisation of the Blakelands team and making the entire process stress free. Our wedding day was incredible and faultless. All of our guests commented on the beautiful venue alongside the quality of the food and the large portion sizes, especially compared to other weddings they'd attended. Blakelands is an incredible venue, if you're planning your wedding in the near future 100% get yourself booked onto one of their open days! You won't be disappointed!
