Choosing The Bottle & Glass for our wedding reception was one of the easiest and most meaningful decisions we made. It’s a place that holds a special part of our story as it’s one of the first places we ever went on a date, so celebrating our wedding there felt full circle. From our very first enquiry right through to the wedding day itself, the service was absolutely fantastic. We mentioned how personal the venue was to us, and that sentiment was genuinely honoured throughout the entire process. Her communication was brilliant, especially once the portal was introduced, being able to see previous messages, track our invoice balance, and stay on top of tasks made planning so much easier (especially if you’re someone who likes to stay organised, like we do!). The team listened to every request and were incredibly flexible, tailoring details to match our style and vision. There were plenty of changes, questions, and tweaks along the way, but Lauren was always there with expert guidance, reassurance, and quick responses. Lauren and her team at the Bottle and Glass went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely gorgeous. In the months leading up, we had a couple of visits and were in email contact whenever we needed to check those big and small questions that come up. Lauren always replied quickly and positively, and was so flexible to the format of our day. The food was absolutely incredible, all our guests loved the family-style feast platter servings, with options for any dietary requirement thoughtfully accommodated. The venue is stunning without decorations, but we had some bunting, lights, candles, vases, and flowers that Lauren and her team arranged (and packed down!) with care. On the day, we really didn’t have to think about anything, it went so smoothly it felt like a dream! The whole team pre-empted ours and our guests’ needs, and looked after our suppliers (photographer Charlotte Hickmott and band Licence to Ceilidh) too. We got married here in May and couldn’t be happier with the venue, staff and catering! The Barn offers a beautiful setting, we had a lovely sunny day and the views across the fields were amazing, especially at sunset. By night the dance floor looks great with disco ball and outside is nicely lit with festoon lights. The food was incredible. We had so many compliments and guests enjoyed seeing the food being cooked on the fire. Having a sharing option got guests talking and interacting. Our guests also loved the pizzas in the evening! Most of all the service is faultless. Lauren helped us to plan our day start to finish, we were fairly last minute and kept changing our minds about things but, nothing was too much trouble and the answer was always yes. On the day everything ran so smoothly, timings were perfect, staff were friendly and helpful but also unobtrusive. The bar ran really well and the staff were very accommodating (even making sure tequila rose was stocked at the very last minute!)

My husband and I had our wedding in February at the barn and it was perfect! Lauren helped us through the whole process and nothing was too much effort. Such a beautiful space to host an intimate wedding celebration all in 1 room. The fires and candles really gave the venue such a warm winter feeling and the whole team was amazing.
