We were married at Stratton on 31.08 and we cannot express how perfect the day was from start to finish! We first viewed the venue 5 years ago when we first got engaged and held off booking due to having 2 house renovations before finally booking in 2024, from the first meeting to the final we felt supported by the team and you can really tell how much they love their job! Holly was our coordinator and her energy and love for her couples is infectious! She goes above and beyond to make sure you are happy in the lead up and on the big day we honestly couldn’t fault her and she is a complete credit to the team at Stratton! Everything was exactly how we imagined from the decor to the music all of the team and external vendors made sure everything was perfect. Our guests couldn’t compliment the venue enough from how beautiful it is, to the range of areas you have exclusive access to for your whole day, everyone was so impressed. The grounds and barn itself are so beautiful and can be decorated in your own way to suit your particular style while still having its own charm. Our content creator had never been to Stratton and absolutely loved it and we had so many places to take pictures in all different styles. We had a lot of extras we wanted for our day, from live singer, sax player, photo booth, sparklers and nothing was too much for the team everything we wanted was encouraged and set up seamlessly. There are so many amazing things we could say about Stratton Court Barn, and we honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. From the very first moment we drove through the gates, walked the grounds and met the team, we knew this was the place we wanted to get married. There was something so special about the venue, and we immediately felt that we could see our wedding there. Taryn was absolutely incredible to work with from start to finish. She was always so kind, patient and considerate, answering all of our (often very random!) questions and making us feel completely supported throughout the whole process. She really understood what we were envisioning for our day and, most importantly, she made us feel like nothing was ever too much trouble. On the day itself, Taryn and the entire team went above and beyond for us. Taryn made sure everything ran so smoothly that we genuinely felt completely stress-free and were able to just enjoy every single moment. And my goodness, did everything come together spectacularly! The day was honestly more perfect than we could have imagined, and we truly couldn’t have done it without her and the amazing team behind her. Seb and the bar team were also fantastic in the evening, looking after us and all of our guests so well and helping to make the evening so much fun. We got married at Stratton Court Barn earlier this year and I cannot recommend it and its staff enough! The venue is truly gorgeous with so much space for your guests, both inside and outside. We had our ceremony in the Rose Garden which was just beautiful, before having our main meal in the Byre and our evening disco in the Main Barn. Every space was great and we found we needed very little decoration to elevate them. The staff are a true asset to Stratton Court. We are so grateful for Holly, our wonderful wedding co-ordinator, who constantly reassured me in the build up to our day, helped brainstorm ideas for any gaps we had and did the most incredible job setting up and making everything look gorgeous on the day. We had the most EPIC wedding at Stratton Court Barn!!! My (now!!) husband and I knew instantly from our first drive up to this magnificent venue that this was the place for us. We were met with fun, kindness, comfort and the most wonderful wedding knowledge which, let’s face it, we needed desperately, as we did not have a clue what we were doing!!!! Stratton Court Barn gave us the most beautiful day of our lives and my husband and our families can't thank them enough for that! We had our wedding here in July 2026 and Holly, our coordinator made sure it was everything we could have imagined. The grounds, barns and Rose garden are absolutely stunning and having full and exclusive use of that for the day was great for our guests (and for photos!) But they're also flexible as a venue, as we could pick our own caterer (for a fee) and decorate as we wished. We fell in love with the venue when we first visited but it's the team that convinced us. The entire team are really friendly and respond within 24 hrs generally but our coordinator Holly was exceptional. She hyped us up at our planning meeting and the drop off week of the wedding. We cannot recommend Stratton Court Barn enough. We fell in love with the venue on visiting and knew it was perfect. The setting is gorgeous, the buildings are beautiful, and altogether it's just the most wonderful place for a stylish, friendly wedding. We had our ceremony in the Main Barn, and it was everything we wanted -- intimate and romantic. Through the day, our guests were able to mill around the courtyard and grounds, toasting marshmallows and playing croquet, while the dancefloor in the Main Barn blended seamlessly into the courtyard as night fell. It was exactly what we had had in mind for our day. What really sets SCB apart, though, is the incredible staff. Our wedding coordinators Charlotte and Taryn were absolutely sublime, responding to every question within hours, constantly trying to accommodate what we wanted. Taryn even managed to get permission for us to have our first dance outside. Taryn went above and beyond in helping us get ready for the day, and she made it so the day caused us absolutely no stress at all: everything just happened without us having to worry about whether the cakes were out, or if the firepit had been lit yet. Taryn, you were better than any review can properly capture, especially in how carefully you ensured I got my walk-in as a bride at the exact moment in the song I wanted. That meant so much to me and Peter. The bar staff -- particularly night manager Seb -- were equally as professional and helpful, moving all our stuff into Granary Cottage for the night so we didn't have to haul anything around, and even providing tea for us to have after the guests departed. Stratton court barn is the most beautiful venue I loved how the rooms are all inter connected we had our ceremony in the beautiful main barn and then wedding breakfast in the byre and for the evening we had evening food and a 360 booth in the barn which the venue changed over so well and used all our flowers off our wedding breakfast decor so everything had lots of use! The evening also we had the bar area as our dance floor for the band which worked so well! The grounds are beautiful and well kept flowers all around which makes the pictures amazing for the backdrop! We had 12 children for day and night which was absolutely no trouble as they had a bouncy castle on the grass area and plenty of space they could run around and be safe. The staff at Stratton court barn are incredible a massive shout out and big thanks to Taryn our wedding coordinator she was phenomenal! She made sure our day was flawless and completely stress free! While planning she was great to chat to so friendly, so informative and gave great advice! On our handovers she was so on the ball super organised, took any stress from us! Stratton Court Barn was the venue for our wedding in April 2026 and they were amazing! The entire venue is finished beautifully and the entire setting of the venue is incredible. The staff were absolutely fantastic in the run up to our wedding and on the day itself. Taryn was our coordinator, working with us to plan our day and was there on the day too. We felt very at ease when we met her to discuss the big day in a planning meeting a few months before the wedding, and she went through a lot of detail to ensure everything was as we wanted. The staff worked with us to make the day amazing and Taryn was on hand all day to ensure everything went smoothly. They setup all our decorations for us on the day so we didn’t have to worry about that. Taryn went above and beyond on the morning of our wedding from helping me into my dress, calming my nerves and helping with practice walks down the aisle. Taryn also met my fiancée (now husband) when he arrived and made sure he was okay, had everything he needed and made sure he was as calm and relaxed as possible. She took him to the side for 5 mins with a drink to make sure he was chilled and ready for the day which he really appreciated. She was always on hand to make sure anything that needed to be done was done. Taryn handed over to Seb the bar manager in the evening who was also very attentive. We stayed in the on-site cottage the night of the wedding which was a lovely addition. It’s a very well maintained property with lots of lovely details. The staff were very thoughtful and took some cake across to the cottage for us and some pizza from our evening food to ensure we got to have some. From the moment we first viewed the venue, we completely fell in love. It truly is one of the most beautiful wedding venues we've ever seen. Every single corner has been thoughtfully designed and maintained – from the stunning barns and courtyard to the rose garden, woodland areas, and breathtaking countryside views. There is so much space, yet it still feels incredibly intimate and special. We attended one of the wedding open days and instantly fell in love with Ferne Wood, which is where we ultimately chose to hold our ceremony. We originally started looking for somewhere to host a simple vow renewal after missing out on a traditional wedding during Covid, but Stratton Court Barn inspired us to create something so much bigger. Before we knew it, our vow renewal had turned into the wedding celebration we'd always dreamed of having! Olivia and Jonny are some of the loveliest people you could ever hope to meet. They have created something truly special at Stratton Court Barn, and we feel incredibly lucky to have found it. And then there's Holly, our Event Manager. I work in events myself, and I can honestly say I have never met anyone quite like Holly. She is absolutely exceptional. The amount of care, effort, organisation, and attention to detail she puts into every wedding is incredible. Throughout the planning process she guided us through everything so thoroughly, making sure no detail was missed. She was always available to answer questions, offer advice, and suggest ideas we would never have thought of ourselves. What amazed us most was how tirelessly she worked behind the scenes. We fell in love with stratton court barn almost straight away. From walking through the rose garden and courtyard, to seeing the barn and the lake, to finally walking though ferne woods. It was the only venue we saw where we loved both the interior and exterior and meant i could live my dream of getting married in the woods. Each visit was just as good as the previous and meant we met new suppliers each open day they hosted giving us lots of options to choose from. Taryn was everything you could ever hope for in a wedding coordinator and somehow even more than that — fun, affirming, calm, endlessly capable, and possibly the greatest wedding coordinator the world has ever seen. From start to finish she made us feel completely supported and looked after. She gave us pep talks when we needed them, kept us excited and grounded all at once, and somehow made everything feel effortless even though we know she was working magic behind the scenes all day long. She arranged the most beautiful set up — walking into the space and seeing everything come together was such an emotional moment because she brought the vision to life even more beautifully than we imagined. I had been following Stratton court barn on Instagram way before I was even engaged and knew as soon as I was this was the place I wanted to get married! ( I just needed to convince my other half haha ) which he was as soon as we visited! Everything was just perfect, from booking and leading up to the day. Our wedding day was honestly the most amazing day of our lives, the venue is just perfect, every single little detail . We had Taryn as our wedding coordinator and Taryn just made the day for me, she was there as soon as I arrived and truly felt like my best friend for the day, I couldn’t have done it without her - thank you again Taryn.
