We had our wedding at St Michael's Manor Hotel and it was just amazing! We opted for the private hire and it was amazing to have the hotel to ourselves and that guests were able to stay over in fabulous rooms! From the moment we walked in for our first viewing, St Michael's Manor was amazing and we knew it was the place we wanted to get married. St Michael's Manor felt so special and that continued right through to the wedding day itself. The venue is absolutely stunning. We got married on the jetty overlooking the water and it was just magical. The gardens are gorgeous and the orangery is such a lovely space for the wedding breakfast and reception. Huge shout out to Christina, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely amazing from day one. Always so quick to respond to emails, nothing was ever too much trouble, and she made us feel completely looked after. On the day itself everything was coordinated to perfection and we could just relax and enjoy ourselves knowing she had it all under control. All the staff were so warm and lovely. We were looked after so well. Loads of our guests commented on how friendly everyone was. And the food was incredible, genuinely some of the best wedding food we’ve ever had. We recently held our wedding at St Michael’s Manor, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience! From start to finish, the entire team went above and beyond to make our day absolutely perfect. A special shoutout to Mohammed, who was incredibly attentive and supportive throughout the entire day. Even though we were running behind schedule, he calmly guided us through each step, ensuring everything flowed seamlessly and stress-free. His professionalism and kindness. We also want to give a huge thank you to the chef, who quite literally saved the day when our wedding cake cracked during transport to the venue. With incredible skill and care, they managed to repair it so beautifully that no one could tell there had ever been an issue. We are forever grateful! The rooms at the hotel were so spacious and comfortable and all our guests who stayed at the hotel commented on how fantastic they were. I went to a wedding here last summer (2001)it was a beautiful event, marriage in the conservatory, pics in the lovely grounds with old ccedars and a lake, then a meal in the restaurant (a very nice sit down buffet) only drawback is the venue closes at around 6 unless you are staying there. We went on to a party in a local St Albans pub.
