A wedding wholly tailored to our needs! We visited one venue, met Kelci and knew that this was for us. Her attention to detail, attitude and customer engagement was brilliant and she managed the day perfectly. The venue itself is beautiful and self contained - and from arrival the evening before (we booked the farmhouse for a few family members and friends) to departure the day after the wedding Kelci ensured it flowed like clockwork - she was there every step of the way making sure everything ran to plan - an amazing young professional. Impossible to speak too highly of her - she took all off the typical stresses out of the day underpinned by Steve who we met the day of the wedding but felt like we’d known him for an eternity. Helping alongside and coordinating everything including seating plan changes, food changes, balancing drinks packages and everything in between was Emily who just seemed to say, sure, I’ll fix it - even at the 11th hour - an absolute star, and Emma on reservations who juggled our room requests around perfectly and just made our lives easy. They went above and beyond to make our day so incredible, they listened to any concerns we had, followed our set up to a tee and made sure we felt at ease throughout the whole weekend. From the moment we first visited Runa Farm, we fell completely in love. We didn’t need to look anywhere else – we knew this was where we were going to get married. The style, the layout, the atmosphere… everything about it was beyond anything we could have imagined. It felt so special from day one, and somehow it still managed to exceed every expectation on our wedding day. The planning process was fantastic from start to finish. Paige, our wedding coordinator was absolutely amazing. Nothing was ever too much trouble – and I genuinely mean nothing. Every question was answered, every request was met with a smile, and the whole team did everything they could to take away any stress so we could simply enjoy the lead-up to our wedding. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Elle and Ian. Elle was our Wedding Manager, and from our final meeting the evening before the wedding right through to saying goodbye after what must have been a very long shift, she was absolutely incredible. She has such a warm, calming presence and made us feel so reassured every step of the way. She validated every little worry, kept everything running seamlessly behind the scenes, and allowed us to be completely present and enjoy every second of our day. I knew we were in the safest hands. And Ian… if you want the best wedding MC, Ian is your man! He took the time to get to know us and our families, and it genuinely felt like he cared just as much about making our day special as we did. He brought so much personality, warmth and humour to the day, and our guests absolutely loved him. The rest of the team deserve just as much recognition too. We know hospitality is a tough industry, and every single member of staff worked so hard to make our day perfect. We genuinely hope they enjoyed being part of it because they played such a huge role in creating memories we’ll treasure forever. The food was fantastic, and while the drinks are on the pricier side, that’s exactly what you’d expect from such a high-end, beautiful venue. The accommodation was faultless. The farmhouse was absolutely stunning, and we are so glad we booked it for the night before the wedding—it made the whole experience even more special. The honeymoon suite was equally beautiful, and ending our wedding day relaxing in the hot tub while reminiscing about everything that had happened is a memory we’ll always treasure. On the day itself, the venue looked even more breath-taking than we could have imagined. As the bride and groom, we genuinely felt like royalty. Everything ran so smoothly that if anything did go wrong behind the scenes, we had absolutely no idea—which is exactly how it should be! Our guests haven’t stopped talking about the venue, and so many have told us it’s one of the most beautiful wedding venues they’ve ever been to. When Michelle first showed us around Runa Farm was just the perfect place for us. The relaxed vibe was exactly what we were looking for so we swiftly booked our wedding with only 6months to plan. We were designated Beth as our wedding coordinator based at as you like it, except the odd email here and there we didn’t have a massive amount of contact until 8weeks before the date. We had our final meeting where we went through everything which was fine. After that communication from Beth was poor, taking days to respond to emails which resulted in phonecalls to get the answers I needed in turn speaking to different wedding coordinators and even asking to speak to a senior coordinator at one point. After the final meeting rooms had been confirmed as on hold for guests who were previously booked at alternative hotels in the area and were waiting for an email to be sent requesting payment, the email wasn’t sent that day after telling guest they had a room a Runa farm. Beth then emailed saying they couldn’t accommodate 2 out of the 4 rooms anymore as they had been booked online which left us and guests highly disappointed. The guests were offered to stay at their sister venue however chose to stay where they had originally booked. The day it’s self was absolutely perfect Runa Farm staff, Michelle, Elle the absolutely gorgeous wedding coordinator on the day and Ian the toast master were incredible. We recently had our wedding at Runa Farm on 14th May, and we honestly could not have asked for a better experience. From start to finish, the entire day ran so smoothly, and that was largely thanks to our wedding coordinator, Eva Carter, and our Master of Ceremonies, Ian Stanley. They were both absolutely fantastic. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and they took care of everything so seamlessly that we were able to relax and enjoy every moment without worrying about a thing. On the morning of the wedding, Eva and Ian helped everything run perfectly while we were getting ready. They transported our belongings from the farmhouse to the wedding venue, which was a huge help. They also went above and beyond by helping pack up the farmhouse and moving everything into our honeymoon suite. The attention to detail was incredible. There were a few food items we didn’t get a chance to eat during the celebrations, and they thoughtfully left a plate for us in the honeymoon suite so we could enjoy them later. It was such a lovely touch and really shows how much they care about their couples’ experience. Eva and Ian were so friendly, approachable, and fun to be around. They kept us entertained, calm, and looked after all day, making what could have been a stressful experience feel completely effortless. One of the most important parts of the day for us was the food, particularly as the groom is a former chef at Runa Farm. The food throughout the day was amazing, and all of our guests commented on how much they enjoyed it. We would like to give a huge thank you to all of the chefs, and serving staff, for giving us the perfect wedding dining experience which for us, was instrumental to the day. Everyone was so happy with the quality and service and we appreciate every detail that went into it being perfect. We’d like to extend a special thank you to Josh Nolan who looked after us at our wedding taster, and supported us to make the refinements to our dishes that really made the difference. His passion for what he does really shines through. Runa Farm is absolutely stunning and what makes it even better is the staff that work there - They are absolutely brilliant, nothing is ever too much trouble, they go out of their way to help anyway they can and are always on hand. From the very first visit, we completely fell in love with the chapel, the relaxed atmosphere, and the beautiful surroundings. Every member of staff we met was so friendly, helpful, and welcoming, and nothing was ever too much trouble. From the wedding showcase to the many visits we made beforehand, everything was handled with such care, attention to detail, and professionalism. We got married at Runa Farm in May 2026, and overall, we had the most incredible day. First and foremost, the team at Runa Farm were absolutely outstanding. From the bar staff and waiting team to our wedding managers, Kelsey and Amy, everyone went above and beyond to make our day special. A particular mention has to go to Maya, who seemed to be doing about twenty different jobs at once throughout the day and evening, all with a smile on her face. Ian, the Master of Ceremonies, was fantastic. We first met him when we came to view Runa Farm and he immediately made us feel special and valued, despite also being busy coordinating a wedding that day. Throughout our entire journey, every member of the venue team was warm, welcoming and genuinely invested in making our day the best it could be. We had countless comments from family and friends about how brilliant the team were. The venue itself is simply stunning. We viewed a lot of venues before booking Runa Farm, and nothing else came close. It hardly needs any decorating, the spaces are beautiful, and the team are very accommodating when it comes to tailoring the day to suit you as a couple. We also stayed in the Farmhouse the night before the wedding and would highly recommend it to other couples. Whilst it is an additional expense, it took away the stress of finding somewhere else to stay and allowed our entire bridal party to spend the evening together before the big day. It was a lovely experience and made the start of our wedding celebrations feel even more special. The wedding day itself was organised like a well-oiled machine. Everything ran smoothly, and when our external photobooth supplier failed to turn up, the team very kindly stepped in and lent us the venue photobooth. We genuinely can't thank them enough for that. The only area where our experience could have been improved was the planning process through the external wedding coordinator based at Apartment Group head office. Alysha was always helpful when we had questions and did support us throughout the planning process. However, we found parts of the experience quite sales-focused, with communications often centred around additional upgrades and extras. We completely understand that these options form part of the wedding journey, but as a couple working to a tight budget, it sometimes felt a little disheartening. Our final planning meeting, which was scheduled for two hours, lasted around 40 minutes and felt more rushed than we had expected. Whilst we covered everything that needed to be discussed, we left feeling a little disappointed. After spending months planning one of the biggest days of our lives, we had hoped for a more personal conversation about our wedding. Instead, the meeting felt quite scripted and transactional at times, as though we were moving through a checklist rather than discussing a day that was unique to us as a couple. We also experienced some delays at the beginning of the process, having to chase for our contract and coordinator details after paying our deposit, which was frustrating given we had been encouraged to secure our date quickly. Importantly, these issues were with the central coordination process rather than the team at Runa Farm itself, who were exceptional throughout. Our wedding day was everything we hoped for and more. We have recently just got married at Runa Farm and the venue was absolutely amazing! We visited on an open day and fell in love with the venue straightaway. From the beginning, they were so helpful and answered all the many questions we had! Our wedding coordinator - Kenzie - was an amazing help. She answered all of our questions and helped us to stay organised and on top of things. Nothing was too big of an ask, and even a last minute change was accommodated for! On the day, the venue staff were incredible. Our amazing wedding manager, Amy, was unbelievably helpful all day. She naturally took charge of the handling of the wedding, but was also there for all of the smaller things too! Amy helped with our wardrobe malfunctions, nervous moments, and even helped me with a stain on my dress - running out and coming back with some washing up liquid which got the stain right out! She was amazing all day! Our master of ceremonies - Ian - was also on hand all day. He was so helpful and made us feel so comfortable throughout the day. Ian and Amy accommodated last minute changes on the day and just took everything in their stride. So many of our guests commented on how nice and helpful they were. Sarah Borthwick was our wedding coordinator and she was so approachable from the very start. She answered any query that we had (lots of them!) and made the wedding process run very smoothly. Sarah wrote everything up which meant we didn’t need to create a ‘wedding file’ or have the stress of sorting all of that. We had such a lovely day and felt like guests at our own wedding, we had time to actually enjoy the wedding and got served canapés and drinks in the room above the aisle so we could have time together before joining everyone else. Myself and my partner got married here and we could not fault Runa farm at all. The staff are so friendly, kind and professional. The venue is absolutely beautiful from the chapel to the farm area with all the animal. Our amazing wedding coordinator Jenna was incredible, so helpful for everything couldn’t have ask for anyone better. Would highly recommend getting married here!!
