Choosing a venue for a wedding can be so difficult, trying to cater for the needs of family and friends so that they feel comfortable and looked after is not easy. However from the moment we stepped into Rowton Hall we knew this was the PERFECT venue. It has everything - the beautiful ballroom, the stylish bar, brilliant outside seating areas - we could honestly not ask for anything more. The team at Rowton are just the best, they were so attentive to our needs and made everyone feel so welcome with impeccable service throughout the two days we spent there. We managed to have an outside wedding and it was breathtaking in the garden area so many beautiful flowers it was a real WOW !!! and such a credit to the gardeners. The rooms we had were fantastic. Louise at breakfast went above and beyond ensuring our delicious breakfast was delivered to the wedding party and all done with heartfelt joy to make our day so special from the very start. Rowton staff are fully committed to making the wedding day run smoothly and were honestly the most genuine people you could come across. They checked in on us without being intrusive, they were on hand to our every need. Amy and Lisa were just FANTASTIC we could not believe how professional they were - every detail was thought of and their high standards was there for all to see. We felt like we had made friends and not just staff from the hotel we were having our wedding at. Thank you so much. The reception staff and bar staff were also amazing they worked hard to help with the smooth running of the day. Special mention to Edel from that team who sorted all the rooms perfectly. The general manager James coordinated outside providers and so much more and again was a pleasure to work with. My wife and I had the most amazing day for our wedding at Rowton Hall Hotel on Saturday 3rd June 2023. Everything was perfect, even the weather. The staff at Rowton Hall have to be recommended, they were all so friendly, helpful and attentive. All of our planning with the venue in advance, ensured that our wedding day was as fantastastic as we had hoped it would be. Louise was great, and looked after my wife and bridesmaids the morning of the wedding. She was very supportive. The operations team did an amazing job on the day. Even the little touches were done so well. The venue and grounds are beautiful. The wedding breakfast was great and the venue even went the extra mile with one of our guests late dietary requests. The apartment we had for our wedding was also of a very high standard. All our guests had a fantastic time at our wedding and everyone has said how much they enjoyed the day. What a wonderful wedding we had, we could not have wished for better. Karen, our wedding organiser was exceptional from the off. Keeping us on track, offering helpful advice, taking all our wishes and concerns seriously and in her stride to ensure we really did have the most special day, focused on what we wanted. Nothing was too much trouble. Her attention to detail ensured we didn’t miss a thing. Matt, the head chef, delivered a wonderful meal, it really was outstanding if the feedback from our guests is to be believed! It was timely, hot, plated with finesse & tasted wonderful. Tony & Kieran executed our plans with excellence. Not only did they deliver all we asked for but the way in which they did it made us all feel welcomed & relaxed as though the place was our own (even though it wasn’t an exclusive event). What can I say about Rowton Hall Hotel and Spa … a basic thank you doesn’t even come close! We recently had our wedding at this venue (22 April 2023) and what a magical amazing experience it was and all thanks to the operational team on the day for delivering on our perfect day. Tony, Kieran and the rest of the team were absolutely brilliant, they we supportive, reassuring, very attentive to our and the guests needs. There was a strong sense of family at the hotel and it felt very much like they were part of the wedding celebrations. This was one of the reasons we had chosen this venue and not some corporate hotel with no character. All the staff on the day were great, very friendly and provided a superb service, we couldn’t fault them! We very much started our weekend as guests but felt like we were leaving as friends with personal invitation to revisit and catch up with them. We were saddened to find out that Tony is leaving the hotel shortly as his professional yet down to earth, friendly approach was second to none. It was amazing to include our pets in the ceremony and we had numerous guests who commented how lovely it was to be able to bring their dogs and made it even more special for us all. The gardens are stunning, lots of pleasant walks and photo opportunities. The food was amazing (even the veggies) and the drinks were plentiful. The rooms were comfortable, if not a little tired and needing some TLC but overall the hotel had a relaxing and welcoming feel! We had the best day ever!! What a venue, our wedding at rowton hall was just perfect. The service went above and beyond. The two Keiran’s really stood out in particular. Any questions we had they were there ready to give us answers or sort something out. Nothing was too much to ask. The wedding breakfast meal was superb, we’ve had so many lovely comments. The venue itself is just beautiful inside and out, the gardens are stunning. We picked the venue particularly for its beauty. With not being able to predict British weather it was important we found a venue we’d be equally happy having our wedding ceremony inside if it rained. Feedback from ourselves has been repeated by our guests back to us. In that, it was simply the best day! Everything from the wedding breakfast food (a few people have asked me to get the recipe for the Ham Hock starter from you haha), to the evening buffet food, venue on the whole (including the building and the grounds), the rooms, all the staff had a great demeanour and nothing was too much effort, to the lighting, flowers, etc.. Our day was nothing short of magical, and this was in no small part thanks to Rowton Hall and how perfect our reception was. The staff were absolutely amazing and were extremely attentive at every single step; nothing was too much trouble for them. In particular, we would like to mention that Keith, our master of ceremonies was superb. From the second we arrived, he greeted us outside and took care of us throughout the day. There was another lady with blonde hair (Kate?) who was lovely too, and many of our guests commented on how great she was. Speaking to the guests since the wedding, they have also echoed our experience of how amazing the staff were. There are countless examples of Rowton Hall staff going above and beyond, and these small gestures made all the difference for us. The venue itself looked sensational. Keith and Meg worked really hard to set things up exactly how we wanted, with the end result being even better than we had envisaged. Everything went to plan and the hotel and Adam Lounge looked lovely - just right for our special day. It was my wedding day, so naturally, but I can honestly say the lovely guys at Rowton went out of their way to make sure it really was! We hired the whole hotel for out guests - which I would highly recommend, and had the ceremony & reception on site, every element of our wedding day was amazing. My friends told me I was the most relaxed bride ever, mainly because the staff at Rowton did everything for me, they were very accommodating for the personal touches we wanted to make our day unique. The venue is simply stunning, with plenty of beautiful places for photos, each bedroom is unique and beautiful, my favourite is the Henrietta Maria. The food was exquisite, not really sure how they managed to get perfectly cooked beef wellington for 115 guests, but they did. We have been back since our special day, and as expected it was just as perfect as we remembered. Whether you are considering getting married here, or simply looking for a holiday, I couldn't recommend this place enough.
