Rhinefield House Hotel

We were very disappointed by Rhinefield and their lack of attention to detail. They were told to refrigerate our cake but didn't, and failed to tell us we had lots leftover until two days after the wedding. By this point, the cake has spoiled and our cake maker advised us it was now inedible. We paid for coffee for 5 in the Oriel Room. This never appeared. The drinks only came to the Bridal Suite because we had to chase them. Breakfast was cold. Staff were told to keep one of each canape for us. They failed to do this. Staff let visitors walk on the lawn which was supposed to be our exclusive use and as such, we have random people in our photos. We got married at Rhinefield House Hotel in May 2025. It is the most beautiful wedding venue in the New Forest. It has beautiful grounds for photos and the building itself is stunning. The staff are very helpful throughout the wedding planning process. The day itself went beautifully and the wedding breakfast was delicious. We booked Rhinefield house for our wedding in September and we are so thankful we did! It was the most magical day, the food was delicious and the venue is just so stunning! Our wedding coordinator Annette is just the best, such a lovely lady. The food was amazing and we had soo many compliments from our guests, on the beauty of the venue, the staff and the food. We got the Bridal experience room to get ready and it was lovely & the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend doing this. The master suite we had for our wedding night was so dreamy and beautiful!! The venue added some person touches

We had a wonderful experience with Rhinefield House for our wedding, our wedding coordinator was very responsive, helpful and no problem was too small or large to help with. We were thrown a curve ball 5 months before our wedding when we were informed that there would be a marathon on the same day as our wedding and the roads to the venue would be shut by 9:30 in the morning but the venue couldn't have been more helpful and had rooms for the guests not staying at the hotel to get ready in and put on breakfast baps, tea & coffee. On the day itself everything went to plan and there were nice small additional touches throughout the day such as having two glasses of champagne for us once the ceremony had ended before the confetti. Our wedding coordinator was also checking in with us throughout the day to ensure that everything was going to plan. Ow they were Amazing! From first meeting Josselyn to Robbie. Josselyn answered every question we had and although she wasn't there on our day, she made sure everything was in order and on the Day, we just had to dress and head out. And the grounds are so beautiful, really a hidden gem. Very picturesque. We did not have to worry about anything as they took care of everything. Thanks so much for all your hard work ahead of the day - it was a pleasure organising the wedding with you, you've made everything very simple and facilitated every little detail and it was obvious that all these details were passed on and followed so well! We had an absolutely fantastic day on Saturday, loved every minute although the day absolutely flew by! We literally can't think of a single "constructive" point, the day was perfect. Everything ran smoothly, the food was amazing, the service was impeccable throughout the breakfast and all the staff were helpful and so friendly. In particular, Cory and Nick (Ops Manager) were brilliant - they were both so attentive and clearly on top of absolutely everything, even there to give Kim a few words of encouragement when nerves set in! This continued all day and into the Sunday, where all of the hotel staff were so friendly! We had comments from so many of our guests how much they enjoyed the day and in particular how excellent they thought the staff were. People have waxed lyrical about all the food (from the canapes to breakfast), about the rooms, the grounds, the spa - we've had nothing but positive comments! It was clear all day that everything had been thought of, that everybody knew how the day was due to run and ensured that it did so to the letter, even when timings slipped slightly later in the day. Throughout the planning the staff at Rhinefield were organised and conscientious, this was reflected by the day running smoothly and as planned. The events managers and staff were fantastic and the grounds were a stunning backdrop, it was the best day of our lives.
