The vineyard was an absolutely magical setting for our ceremony — truly unforgettable and perfect for such an important day. Every part of the venue looked stunning and the care, attention to detail and warmth from Lucie and her team made the entire experience feel effortless. We and all our guests were blown away by how beautiful and welcoming everything was. Charlie and Sarah were both on hand in the lead up to the wedding with Isobel being the absolute best for the on-the-day operations and ensuring everything was running to perfection. What stood out even more was the team’s professionalism and support in the lead-up to the wedding. From answering all our questions, to helping us plan the perfect layout and timing for the day, to even allowing us to design our entire menu from scratch(!!) We knew we wanted to get married at Old Luxters Barn the day we went to visit. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and the setting is beautiful. They answered all our questions and were really flexible, allowing us to hold a date for two weeks without putting down any deposit, while we made our mind up. (We didn't even need the 2 weeks!) Their communication throughout the year of planning was brilliant, always giving us clear guidance and answers. We really enjoyed going for our menu tasting day a few months before the wedding, to sample all the food and drinks - that was a special day. And our wedding day itself was amazing! The staff were excellent, the food was great and the onsite farmhouse was perfect for little ones to go to bed while the adults could keep dancing! From the moment we walked into Old Luxters Barn, we knew it was where we wanted to get married. The layout was perfect for what we were looking for - barn, courtyard and marquee all close together, with the on-site farmhouse a few seconds walk away. The barn is magical, particularly with the fairy lights and festoon lights which we opted for both inside and outside. And the courtyard space was perfect for the reception drinks and canapés. The entire team were fantastic throughout the planning process and on the day! Their professionalism, efficiency and friendliness was one of the main things that drew us to the venue. No request was too much and they really made us feel special - we particularly loved the private food tasting that we had a few months before our wedding! The onsite farmhouse was wonderful for the night of our wedding too - lovely rooms, very comfortable and a nice addition of breakfast ingredients for the morning. We absolutely loved every moment of our wedding day at Old Luxters Barn! From the moment we saw the venue, we knew it was the one. It is so cosy and rustic, with gorgeous wooden beams and a beautiful cobbled courtyard, and provided the perfect backdrop for our boho autumn wedding in November. The colours of the trees in the woods around the barn were stunning and the vines served as a perfect reminder of our engagement on a vineyard in Italy. The staff - especially Bev and Charlie - are wonderful; so helpful, friendly and always on hand to provide advice and calming words in the moments leading up to saying 'I do!' Selecting Old Luxters Barn for our wedding was an excellent choice. The staff, especially Beverley, were incredibly welcoming and always ready to help. They allowed us to visit as often as we needed and were quick to respond to our emails and questions. They paid close attention to our preferences for the wedding setup and ensured everything went off without a hitch. The barn and courtyard are stunning, but what truly stood out for us was the possibility of an outdoor wedding in the garden overlooking the vineyard. The picturesque surroundings provided a perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. We even walked through the nearby woods (bride in flip-flops) to capture some fantastic photos with Hambleden valley in the background. We wholeheartedly recommend Old Luxters Barn as a wedding venue.

Old Luxters Barn proved to be an absolutely fantastic venue for our wedding day. Our wedding planner, Lucie, did everything to get us organized and make us feel comfortable. She kept in regular contact with updates leading up to the wedding. We risked the English May weather and held the ceremony in the garden under the enormous tree. Lucie’s team were prepared for the “plan B” ceremony which would be held in the barn if it rained. The garden and vineyards make a beautiful setting. The barn is both cute and beautiful and can be decorated pretty much however you want. We went to town hanging greenery from the roof beams. Lucie was very open to ideas and helpful with the design, and also very clear about what we were/were not allowed to do (no hammering nails into the walls – fair enough!). There isn’t much to be saved in doing your own catering due to the corkage and services fees, but once committed to the onsite kitchen we discovered their menu was absolutely stunning. For mains, we had a vague idea about Lebanese food. The chef provided a bespoke menu for us to taste from and it was all delicious! The farmhouse is worth considering if the budget can stretch. Our family were delighted to be able to amble straight to bed after one-too many drinks. It’s large, characterful and comfortable. Finally, the staff on the night were brilliant, we barely noticed they were there! They ensure that everything goes to plan and avoid disrupting your day wherever possible, and are all very professional and polite. All in all, an ex
