We had a fantastic wedding at Oddfellows on an early May Day bank holiday. The wedding co-ordination leading up to the day was really helpful with Oana, the wedding co-ordinates super lovely and helpful with hints and tips. On the wedding weekend the team were second to none! They went over and above for us and calmed any bridal jitters! We also had a birthday cake to bring out - just to add to the complexity and they were excellent in getting it out just at the right time:

We decided back in November to have a smaller wedding in January with 32 people. Oddfellows could not have been more acomodating from start to finish. They made the room look amazing, no request was too much trouble. They came back to us so quickly which made planning enjoyable rather than stressful. Every single person that came to the wedding has commented on how lovely it was, the facilities were great and the food was outstanding. We can't thank Oddfellows Chester enough for hosting the most amazing wedding day for us and our guests. From the initial booking up until the day itself, Oana and Rebecca were both fantastic and nothing was ever too much. We've been told by many of our guests that our drinks reception was the best they've ever been to, everyone was up dancing and having an absolute ball which is exactly what we wanted. The food was amazing and there was plenty of variety for us to choose from during our menu tasting which was a lovely addition to the wedding package. We wanted a really casual wedding that felt a lot more like a party than the standard wedding type day, and Oddfellows was key to this. Firstly, the rooms you hire offer two different things. The bar area has lots of seating and an open and relaxed feel, with lots of space for a band, dancing, tables for cake, card things, etc, and an outdoor terrance for smokers or to cool down after dancing all night. The other room has more of a traditional wedding type feel with a dance floor, set out tables and chairs to eat and, etc. We also utilised large landing space to serve the food, but more importantly had a large sofa and TV so people could watch the Rugby World Cup!! With these three different areas all offering something different, there was something for everyone and if you wanted to chill, chat or dance it gave the option for all. When planning the wedding the events team at Oddfellows were honestly amazing. Everything was thought of before hand, with a high level of communication at all times. We were so glad we chose oddfellows as our venue for our wedding, it was the perfect mix of quirky, modern yet still felt like a romantic wedding venue.
