Moreteyne Manor is a 16th Century Tudor Manor house complete with a moat & timber beams. Surrounding the Manor are stunning grounds including a large lawn & secluded areas, perfect for capturing intimate moments. The Manor is a family run venue with an experienced team to help guide you through the entire process. At Moreteyne Manor there are five main spaces to be enjoyed. Each space offers a different purpose and atmosphere. The Lounge The Lounge is the warm welcome at the entrance of the manor. Filled with comfortable furniture and quirky artwork it is the perfect place relax and recline. While you’re in the lounge you can grab a drink from the bar and have a sit by the fireplace. The Restaurant The Restaurant holds up to 50 people for a civil ceremony which makes it the perfect place for an intimate ceremony with loved ones. The restaurant can also hold up to 30 people for a sit-down meal. The Mulberry Room The Mulberry Room is constructed with bare brick walls underneath long runs of windows which allow a warming glow of sunlight in. The Mulberry Room holds 80 people for a civil ceremony & 60 for a sit-down meal. It is also home to our the second of our bars. The Marquee The Marquee is the largest of the spaces which allows you to increase your guests & maximise the fun. Hidden in the garden it creates the perfect atmosphere for a wedding breakfast & then later into the night it transforms into the soul of the party with its very own dance floor. The Marquee holds up to 100 people for a sit-down meal & 140 for an evening reception. The Grounds Filled with nature, the grounds offer the perfect surrounding for everything from outdoor ceremonies to garden games. The main lawn sits directly in front of the manor & holds 100 people for a civil ceremony. Food Our chefs offer a wide range of cooking styles to satisfy your tastes. We can produce an array of three-course sit-down meals, please see the marvelous menus list for ideas, as well as more relaxed culinary styles such as live cooked BBQ, finger buffets & carvery style buffets. We can even work alongside our local butcher to deliver succulent hog roasts. Refreshments We can offer full bar service tailored to your needs. Our bars close at 11:30pm Entertainment We will be delighted to assist in sourcing entertainment from disco to acoustic music Our music policy is live acoustic music until 11.00pm Disco until 11.30pm Noise levels must be abided by All music must be discussed with the manor before booking Carriages at midnight Confetti must be biodegradable Please be considerate of the manor & wildlife Our terms * All prices quoted are on a per person basis & exclude vat, which will be charged at the prevailing rate * To confirm your date in advance we require a non-refundable, non-transferable £500.00 deposit followed by a 25% nonrefundable payment due 3months prior to your date, with the balance payable 7days prior to your date. * Any Additional charges incurred settled on the date of the wedding Confirmation of final numbers is required 7 days prior to the wedding * A handling charge of 2% will be added to payments made by credit card, failure to pay the balance 7 days prior to the wedding may result in the cancellation of the booking A 10% service charge will be added to the total food costs * Cancellation of the wedding prior to your date may incur charges *
