We got married at Milling Barn last week. Our co-ordinator Aimie was organised and pro-active right from the get go making the running of the day so smooth. She happily accommodated all the tweaks and little touches we wanted to do to make the day a true reflection of us as a couple. We got so many compliments on the day from guests about the setting and the food (which the venue provided), We went for their family feasting style meal and it went down a treat, even getting the comment "Best Wedding Food I have ever had!". We had an amazing experience with our wedding venue and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful setting for their special day. A special mention has to go to Rachel, our wedding coordinator, who was absolutely fantastic. She was a godsend on the day, keeping everything running as smoothly and on time as possible while always being available to answer any questions. She also somehow managed to make sure we always had a drink in hand after the ceremony, which was very much appreciated and allowed us to relax and enjoy the day. The venue itself is stunning, and the food was outstanding. It was one of the most talked-about aspects of the wedding amongst our guests, with so many people commenting on how delicious everything was. The team were also brilliant at bringing our vision to life and making sure the space was set up exactly how we wanted it. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and everything looked beautiful. We had a smaller wedding of around 55 guests and understood that there was a minimum food spend to meet. Our only suggestion for improvement would be a little more flexibility in how that spend can be allocated. For example, it would have been nice to include items such as tea and coffee within the minimum spend rather than having them treated as an additional cost. Overal

We had our wedding here at the end of March 2026 and it was THE BEST day (even if the weather wasn't completely on our side). We knew from our first visit this was the perfect place. We were assigned Niamh as our contact who was always on hand to answer all our many many questions. When it came to the day, it was completely stress free. Myself and Bridesmaids got ready in the spacious dressing room which was available from 9am. A few of the onsite rooms were available from 11am ready for the groom etc to prep. Niamh was checking in on us regularly which we really appreciated. In terms of the venue set up, Niamh and the team managed everything, setting up the barns perfectly and even better than we ever imagined. There was plenty of space for all our guests in and across all of the barns (we had about 90 day guests). During the day (and after) we were receiving praise for the venue! Food wise, we chose the 3 course Chicken Roast which was delicious and portions were very generous...we couldn't eat it all! Lots of compliments received. The moment we walked into Milling Barn we knew it was the venue for us. After looking around locally we were blown away by how charming and beautiful it was. Most of all Aimie made us feel like we weren’t just another couple, we felt cared for. There’s nothing we can fault in the process, Aimie was knowledgeable and kept our minds at ease the whole time. She understood our vision and was supportive. The tasting event is definitely something I would recommend, it made us so excited for the day. On the actual day Aimie and team looked after to us so well! As the bride I felt like I was in such a safe pair of hands it let me relax and enjoy the day. We had the first wedding of 2026 at the venue with its new and highly improved makeover! The whole process from the start was so professional and inviting. The venue is a beautiful setting that you don't need to do much to to make it look and feel special. The grounds were impeccable and the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Our day was absolutely amazing, and a lot of that was down to the incredible team at Milling Barn. From the start, Rachel was so helpful in talking us through all the options and explaining everything clearly. She listened to our ideas and helped them to come to life. On the day, everything was so smooth and we had guests commenting on how amazing Rachel and the team were. So many people commented on how beautiful the venue was, with one even saying it was one of the most beautiful places they had ever been! We had our wedding at Milling Barn and we wanted to say a massive thank you to the team for making our wedding day so special. The team on site were incredibly attentive, their communication was great and everything ran on time thanks to them. The staff even made sure that we (the bride and groom) got canapés and reception drinks despite having to run off for pictures. The food tasted great, the service was really quick (even guests commented on how good this was). The evening pizzas were also really popular with guests. The team even responded positively to last minute changes in circumstances on the day (including adding a guest and changing dietary requirements for a guest). The dressing room is also really spacious (enough space for 8 of us, plus two make up artists and a hair stylist) and Niamh kept checking in to see if we needed any help in the morning too which was fantastic. We had our wedding at Milling Barn at the start of October and it was the most perfect day. The minute we viewed Milling Barn we knew it was the venue for us, with the lovely rooms full of beams and fairy lights and the grounds with views of the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. One of the things we loved about this venue was you could decorate it as much or a little as you wanted and it still looked pretty. The dressing room was the perfect size for myself and my bridesmaid to get ready, we also ordered some Prosecco and orange juice for the morning, which was chilling as we arrived. We recently had our wedding on 30.05.2025 at Milling Barn and I cannot fault the staff or venue in any way. We were extremely lucky to have Niamh as our wedding planner and from the very first meeting, she has been exceptional and always there for when we needed advice or had any questions.
