We had our wedding at The Berystede and honestly, we could not have chosen a more perfect venue. From the very first meeting, Cleo was absolutely amazing, always so helpful, incredibly responsive to emails, and so organised right up to our final details meeting. She made the planning process feel so smooth and stress-free. A few of us stayed the night before the wedding, and the team kindly allowed us to set up on the Friday. This was such a huge help as it meant I knew exactly how everything was going to look and be on the big day. The rooms themselves were fantastic, spacious, comfortable, and ideal for getting ready with my bridal party. On the wedding day itself, the operations team were OUTSTANDING. From start to finish, they were there whenever we needed them and made sure everything ran seamlessly. My husband and I were able to truly relax, soak up every moment, and enjoy the day knowing that the team had everything in hand. The food was another highlight, our canapés and wedding breakfast went down a treat with all of our guests, who are still talking about how delicious it all was. The late-night pizza boxes were such a fun and thoughtful addition that kept everyone happy right through to the end of the night. We honestly couldn’t fault a single thing. The honeymoon suite was beautiful, and coming back to a chilled bottle of champagne and a slice of our wedding cake waiting for us was such a special touch. We recently got married at the Berystede and I cannot thank the team enough. Started off with the wonderful Sarah being the best wedding planner there is, no request was too big or small - she reeled us in with her bubbly personality and above and beyond approach. Sarah then handed over to Lauren and this girl is UNREAL!!! she knows her stuff and the whole weekend was planned out to within the very last second. Lauren is an operational, logistical goddess and has everything on lock down it is a well oiled ship. Lauren worked alongside Chris and what a diamond he is, Ensuring everything was slick and wonderful. Every single member of staff that worked on our wedding was unbelievable. We decided to marry at the Berystede after getting engaged there and visiting for a few spa weekends. Every time we visited, the staff were very professional and attentive to our needs. Those that helped run our wedding day, Lauren and Chris, were fantastic! Lauren helped me stay calm when we had a meeting with her the day before the wedding and told me time and time again everything will be okay. . . and it was! Lauren’s attention to detail and dedication to our wedding was truly remarkable. She laboured behind the scenes from dusk till dawn to ensure our day ran perfectly. If there were any problems, she found a way to solve them quickly without needing to interrupt our celebrations. Chris also deserves a special mention. Acting as a toastmaster Chris worked tirelessly to make sure that both us and our guests were in the right places at the right times. Chris’ kind yet assertive nature was perfect to ‘herd’ our guests to where we needed them to be. Most importantly, Chris’ charisma and charm really made our day. He guided us through all of the formalities with care and professionalism, leaving us with the feeling that the Berystede truly cared about our special day. For any future brides thinking of having a wedding here, you will not regret it! We had our wedding reception at the Berystede on Friday 28th July 2017. We are still reeling from what was such a perfect day... More than we could ever have imagined. What was instrumental in making our day so perfect was the incredible staff at the Berystede hotel. From day 1, Sarah our wedding coordinator was just amazing. She listened to everything we wanted and helped us to make it happen, offering advice but not telling us what we wanted. We had a very musical wedding where we had live music playing all day, (some of it performed by ourselves!) And where some hotels instantly saw this as a logistical nightmare, nothing seemed to be too much for the staff at the Berystede. There was also an excellent contingency plan for if the weather was not on our side on the day... which is wasn't! On the day, Chris, the conference and banqueting manager acted as our MC and ran the day. He was magnificent! He made the day run so smoothly and had all staff doing everything that needed to be done brilliantly. He was so gentile and kind to our guests too which many people commented on. The food was also of the highest standard and there was plenty of it! The morning after the Wedding, the Berystede organised for us to have a private breakfast with all of our guests, before relaxing in the spa, which was a great way to unwind after what was a amazing but busy day and a very late night! I would just like to give some feedback from our wedding 27th June 2015. From the moment we stepped foot in the venue we loved everything about it the staff we're always smiling and polite nothing was too much trouble. Danielle ran everything very smoothly She was amazing at answering all emails promptly and alway put our minds at rest about the day. We visited on several occasions and the staff we're always professional and gave a very personal service We we're amazed at the knowledge of the wines when we came for our menu tasting the staff definitely know the products on offer at the hotel. The night before our wedding there was a big party of us seated outside everyone ordered food and drinks which arrived promptly and tasted delicious On the day both Dannielle and the banqueting manger were amazing they we're there adding the personal touches and we couldn't ask for anything more everything ran smoothly and too time and all our guests commented on how fab the staff we're in serving the main meal and with the buffet. I even missed the buffet in all the excitement but the manager made sure I had a sandwich before I went to bed excellent service. On a whole we couldn't of asked for anything more for our day it was perfect in every way and we truly believe that this was because of how organised and truly amazing Dannielle and all her team are We really cannot thank you enough!
