We got married here in August 2024. From the moment we viewed the venue, we knew it was the one for us! Shanel and her team did everything to ensure the day ran smoothly, and communication in the lead up was efficient, no question was too trivial! It has amazing indoor and outdoor space, we even had the opportunity to have a bouncy castle and garden games for the kids which was a big hit (maybe not just for the kids!). All of the team

We unfortunately did not have a great experience, the day turned out very nice as the location is very pretty and the weather turned out great, would not recommend this venue, unless it changes management. We did not have much support from the event organisers from booking to wedding, we had a meeting 1 month before were we set out our package requests and all addition, and we asked questions regarding the food that we asked them to follow up and it was never done. When we arrived in the morning to leave a few decorations, they were not setting up the decorations package that we had paid for, and even doubted us when we pointed out, and still we did not have post box for cards and orange lights as requested. When the entree arrived, it was filled with the one ingredient I had flagged I was severely allergic to (me being the bride, you would expect them to pay attention) and after pointing out twice I was eventually given crackers and cheese. We had to almost beg to get our wedding cake cut after the wedding and not after the dancing part, they literally butchered the cake and refused to serve it as this was not normally offered, so we provided plates and forks and I waited the tables in my wedding dress (likely family thought was funny, but definitely did not appreciate the venue refusing a very reasonable request). We paid the package to include the DJ who was absolutely terrible, we had emailed him once payment was finalised a month before the wedding to discuss music details, and he messaged us in the morning to ask us our opening song and music preference (to which the groom luckily found time to copy paste the detailed email we had forwarded a month before) to which he only played the first dance. I had specifically let him know how much I loved Spice Girls and not one song was played, I ended up not dancing at my own wedding as the "DJ" was only playing music and did not try to engage the audience once. Really regret paying him, as it was an absolute waste of money and we could have just played a playlist from our tablet as we had done for the whole ceremony and reception. We were meant to be announce on the dance floor for our first dance and instead the "DJ" just started playing our song, which took us by complete surprise and ruined the very special moment we had been dreaming for months, as it was a song very dear to our hearts. The only highlight of the day was the amazing work done from the kitchen and waiting staff (they were amazing and smiling even hours into helping us and kept on complementing us), but the organisation was absolutely terrible.
