We had always dreamed of having a wedding somewhere beautiful, historic and truly special, and Leeds Castle was everything we could have hoped for. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, but what made the whole experience even better was the team. We planned the wedding ourselves with no previous experience, so at the beginning we were quite nervous about whether we could manage everything. From our first viewing through to the wedding day, the Leeds Castle team were always professional, friendly and very helpful. They supported us through every stage of the planning, answered our questions quickly and helped us with all the small details. We always felt that our ideas and requests were listened to and taken seriously. The package they offered us also worked really well within our budget, and having our wedding at Leeds Castle was worth every penny. Everything on the wedding day ran very smoothly. The team worked really well with our caterers and florist, and both we and our guests felt very well looked after. When we visited the Leeds Castle grounds looking for a wedding venue, it was love at first sight for us. We knew instantly this had to be our wedding location. The staff were very friendly and showed us around the different options and locations and explained their pricing range. We felt well prepared to make a decision. In the end we chose the Maiden's tower for our wedding ceremony and the Fairfax barn for our wedding breakfast with Graysons (on-site vendors) catering the meal. The process leading up to the wedding was mostly smooth and the assigned coordinator was always on hand to answer questions and give us support. The entire team were fairly easy to get hold of, well knowledgeable in the ins and outs and always willing to have a discussion to resolve any issues. On the day, we were met with nothing but professionalism. From the golf cart drivers who were there to support our less mobile guests and help carry all our luggage, to the staff catering the day (Nan was extra happy with the care she received), to the evening staff, everything was smooth and easy. The contact from Leeds Castle was excellent before the wedding and they provided an Event Manager on the day to ensure everything ran smoothly. It suited us so well, it's beautiful and full of character. We chose to get married outside under the 'Bower' but ceremonies can also take place inside. What can I say this is just the most exceptional venue to hold your nuptials the backdrop is just spectacular. We booked Leeds just over a year ago and the coordination has been just top notch Katie Amanda and their teams just know exactly what you need as support I didn't worry about any of the detail because I knew it was all taken care of from the initial planning meeting to the day itself nothing was too much trouble. The planning meeting and tastings were lovely experiences and on the day the staff literally couldn't do anymore nothing was too much trouble.
