Larkspur Lodge, the venue, their management and all the team were simply incredible. Going above and beyond from before the wedding date until the very last minute when guest were leaving. They were considerate, helpful, smiley, super efficient and a dedicated, professional flawless team. My cousin‘s wedding will be always remembered not only for the exquisite venue, her super talent and choice of floral arrangements….shout out to the incredible Extra Fleur Event Styling, but the loft for the bridal team and multifunctional space that was adapted throughout the whole of the day to meet the guest needs. It was pure magic how the lodge was transformed by the team and all the flowers too. But huge congratulations on having the most fabulous event with stunning rooms and a formidable Manager and team of staff, that any bride or groom could have ever wished for. My cousin Charlotte was the lucky Bride on August 20th last week. This wedding was going to be a showstopper given the nature of her work and creative nature, and your incredible team were outstanding throughout the whole day What I must say is that I have managed large teams, under pressure myself for many decades and I don’t think I have ever met a more dynamic, patient, caring, considerate, efficient, proactive, calming professional as Georgia Jackson, throughout my whole career Georgia was always available, adapting to all guests needs, young and old, she also had a constant smile on her lovely face as did all the team I feel awful for not remembering all their names but the young lady who provided guests with drinks after the ceremony on the terrace was just brilliant and so lovely, very funny and extremely sweet playing along with guests requests and my quirkiness. Security later on in the reception also helped to organise Ubers more effectively and they were all grateful for his help The staff never stopped! I don’t even know where to begin.. we had the most PERFECT day for our big day a month ago🤍 The venue is just incredible, breathtakingly beautiful and full of charm. The ceremony room with film style seating, candle and fairy lights is dreamy and romantic. The reception room is beautiful, full of charm and natural light. And the outdoor space has been renovated amazingly, an amazing log burner, covered decking area and stunning lawn based on a beautiful country lane. The staff… TOP TIER!! We absolutely cannot fault any of the team or thank any of them enough!! Rebecca was our wedding co-ordinator and wow, she smashed it! Our day ran perfectly without a single hitch, everything was seamless and guests commented on how well our day ran and how unrushed it felt! That was definitely a credit to all of the girls! And during the build up to our big day, Holly couldn’t have done enough for us! She answered every email quickly, was very thorough and so incredible helpful and kind. The bar staff were amazing! They kept up with a very busy bar and make our guests feel so welcomed, everyone commented on how friendly they were and how well the bar was ran all night. Fork & Field (in house caterers) are just WOW!! The food is immense. No one can get over how amazing it was. Piping hot and served to all our guests so quickly! We loved our catering tasting 9 months before our wedding, the team were so attentive and didn’t rush us to make any choices. They were very informative and the food then was just as good as the food on our day! We had the fire truck for evening pizzas and wow!! What an amazing addition to our wedding. It brought such rustic charm and the pizzas were incredible! If we could do our day all over again we would 1000% be coming straight back to Larkspur!

After a friend's wedding we fell victim to a taxi scam, we have notified the venue who have failed to respond. The couple have also notified them and they said they would "look into it" but I've seen another review recently about the same thing. The venue had clearly not acted. At the end of the evening, we required a taxi to return to our hotel. We had been informed earlier in the day that Larkspur Lodge could arrange taxis for guests, and that there was a discounted rate available through the venue. As we were preparing to book an Uber, a member of your security team approached us and advised that he could order a taxi on our behalf, reiterating that the venue had a discount with a local taxi firm. As he was acting as a representative of Larkspur Lodge, we trusted this offer. Shortly after, a taxi arrived. The security guard who had arranged it was seen chatting outside with another, younger member of your security team, both clearly familiar with the driver. As we got into the vehicle, the guard made a comment in another language to the driver, followed by a remark in English: "I couldn't send you any more, everyone drove, they all came in their own cars." This suggested to us that this may be a regular arrangement. We were driven a very short distance, just six minutes with no traffic, to the Cottons Hotel and Spa. On arrival, we were charged £15 for the journey, which is more than double what an Uber would have cost at that time (around £6). This felt i

My husband Max and I got married at Larkspur Lodge in June. Where do I even begin? We fell in love with the venue when we viewed it back in December 2023 and booked straight away. The venue is stunning, it’s romantic, spacious and needs very little additional decor. We planned our day with Larkspurs wedding & Events Manager, Georgia. Georgia is absolutely incredible at what she does, she is responsive, honest and supported us completely during the months leading up to the wedding. As a former events manager myself I’m a bit of a control freak and I completely trusted Georgia. Our day was perfect in every way. Everything went so smoothly and all the little extra details we planned were executed perfectly. To Hannah, James, John, Becky and the rest of the Larkspur Lodge team we can’t begin to thank you enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives! From the moment we pulled up to the venue on the open day it was already everything we had imagined and more! Once we got inside and seen how beautiful and unique the ceremony room was we realised we had found our venue. The reception room was the perfect size for our wedding guests and even better that the bar area isn’t completely separated but another area to mingle and still be close enough to enjoy the day. Myself and my bridal party absolutely loved getting ready in the upstairs area. It was spacious, we had unlimited hot/cold drinks and lots of space for hair and make up. Nothing was too much trouble for the team and all of the staff were friendly and welcoming. Every email query was always answered and sorted quickly. Special thanks to John who was an absolute star on the day making sure every detail was right and even saving some canapés for us to enjoy whilst we were busy having photos. We can’t quite put into words just how incredible the team at Larkspur are. From start to finish, each and every member of staff we encountered or had contact with provided us with exceptional, professional and friendly service. We owe our wedding to Sophie, who worked tirelessly to ensure that every aspect of our day was just as we dreamed it would be. With her knowledge of the industry, her approachability and flexibility, and her driving force nature, Sophie made our dream a reality alongside her amazing team. Erin who ensured the catering side of our day ran seamlessly, with a smile on her face. Hannah who updated files, was present at meetings, was super responsive to emails and who on the day provided support, encouragement and a reassuring arm to settle the nerves. James who worked alongside Erin to ensure that the food we ate was nothing short of perfection and that our evening could go ahead as planned and finally the lovely Caitlin who facilitated and coordinated the day, alongside her colleagues, ensuring that all the finer details were in place. Larkspur Lodge is a haven where dreams really do become a reality thanks to the dedicated, committed and incredible staff team. The building itself is steeped in history, yet with a modern, rustic feel. The outdoor space provides the perfect sanctuary for soaking up the sunshine in the summer and spring months or watching nature take its course during the autumn and winter months, with a drink in hand as the day unfolds. The natural grounds around the lodge allow for the most idyllic photographs and the ceremony room is like nothing you’ve ever seen before! If you haven't yet considered Larkspur Lodge, go for a viewing! You will be amazed. It was our first venue we looked at and we knew instantly that was to be our wedding venue. It's modern, clean, inviting, spacious - and looks so sophisticated. The team are fantastic, nothing is too much of an issue or a hassle - they really want to make sure you have the best day - and trust us, we did! Larkspur was the first venue we visited and we fell in love. We went on to look at several others but none gave us the goosebumps, “it’s the one!” feeling like Larkspur did when we stepped into that beautiful ceremony room! The venue is well cared for with plenty of beautiful, always-there details - rustic sideboard, the decorated ceiling lights, the full-length mirrors, lots of small, boho-vibe details that give it a lovely vibe. The fire engine is a quirky bonus and our guests loved the pizza from there in the evening! The staff were super responsive and flexible in letting us personalise our day to meet our vision. The ceremony room with its checkered floor, vintage cinema seats, bare beams/brick and fairy lights is the most beautiful, romantic setting. We loved all the other spaces - from the whisky snug to the bar and the outdoor area!! We made use of the Bridal Prep room in the morning which was a perfect space for all our bridal party prep. And the entire space was perfect for our medium sized wedding. Food by Fork&Field was incredible and actually we preferred the reduced stress of not having to find our own caterer! The staff were super attentive on the day and everything ran seamlessly. Definitely definitely recommend.
