From the initial viewing I knew this would be the place we’d host our wedding party. Everything from the staff, the venue itself and even the weather was perfect! The food is amazing, I’d highly recommend eating in the restaurant, the cocktails are great and the staff are fantastic. Sophie was our go to person during planning and she and the team were great with answering our thousands of questions and keeping us updated. On the day of our wedding we had Ben on hand to help, nothing was too much trouble and he looked after everyone. All of my guests were so impressed with all of the staff and how easy the day went off. We had relative free rein over our decorations so it had taken us a long time to really nail down what we wanted. Seeing it all laid out brought tears to our eyes as we excitedly awaited everyone to see the table decorations. The food, went a treat! Everyone commented on how great the quality was and how much they enjoyed it. Everyone was also so great with our dog who was part of our wedding. He got snuck a snack or two and was throughly worn out by the end of the day. The rooms are a whole new level, very beautiful with fantastic views. Some of the rooms were also dog friendly which took a huge weight of our chest as well. There was a little welcome pack for him which was just so thoughtful. Our guests enjoyed their rooms, they are very clean and have good amenities. Breakfast next morning was lovely with a great atmosphere. My stepdaughter and now son-in law chose Lainston House for their wedding day. What a fabulous choice they made! The Wedding Manager Sophie guided and advised them every step of the way, from the initial show-round, right up the the big day. Her help, professionalism and attention to detail was outstanding and very reassuring, especially as the happy couple live abroad. The wedding day itself was wonderful and went without a hitch. The Dawley Barn looked absolutely stunning for both the ceremony and the wedding Breakfast. We were looked after by Louis, the Outlets Manager, and his wonderful team throughout - nothing was too much trouble - but every member of staff we encountered was genuinely warm and friendly. Not only is this a truly stunning venue with picturesque grounds, the staff fantastic from front of house when you first check in to the fantastic chefs creating the wonderful food, nothing is to much trouble. I have so many compliments it's hard to know where to start! Firstly, the venue itself it stunning! The barn where we had our ceremony and meal was just lovely. The wedding was at Christmas so we had fairy lights and christmas tree galore, which made it feel extra cosy and even more special! Secondly, the team (led by Michelle, Katherine and Chris) were absolutely amazing every step of the way. Great at what they do and just genuinely lovely people! Thirdly, the food was delicious! I knew it would be from our menu tasting but we also had so many comments from guests on how much they enjoyed it. I couldn't have asked for more and can't wait to go back for our anniversary!
