We had a wonderful evening wedding in the Battlebridge Room on Aug 3rd 2013. Rebecca the planner was superb, and stayed throughout the evening to make sure everything went perfectly. We had our wedding reception, breakfast and evening cocktail drinks at Rotunda Bar and Restaurant and we can honestly say the day was faultless from start to finish. We were lucky enough to have it in the middle of the longest hot summer for a long time - just ideal for the beautiful setting upon the canal. Firstly the Staff: Rebecca is a superb wedding planner/coordinator – helped us through all the preparation providing useful ideas and thinking outside the box. Her attention to detail and integrity was 2nd to none throughout – and we would recommend her to any of our close friends getting married. Liz the Restaurant manager was great; tenacious and proactive throughout teamed with Seb and Cedric – they really did ensure that no issues ever reached the Bride and Groom and everything went smoothly. The food was just delicious – good portion sizes and presented in a way that would cut it on Master Chef – every table we stopped at complimented the chef! The venue was great – what looked like a classy modern restaurant before transformed into a magical and romantic wedding setting – with good disabled access and great games/amenities making the most of the outside space

We got married overseas but had our wedding party in the Battlebridge Room in May and I'm so happy we chose King's Place. We managed to organise the party in 4 months and from overseas, which would not have been possible without the help of Rebecca, who went out of her way to do everything she could to make sure it all ran so smoothly. We got married at Kings Place in September and had an amazing day – it is the perfect venue for a London wedding! We were so pleased that we were able to have the wedding ceremony and reception all in one venue, it made planning much simpler and meant we didn’t have to worry about the temperamental British weather! The staff were all wonderful on the day, they worked really hard to make sure everything ran smoothly - the ceremony and reception rooms looked beautiful, the food was absolutely amazing, and the service perfect. We had so many positive comments from our guests!! We had the perfect wedding day at King’s Place. So many guests (I’ve honestly lost count!) commented on how fantastic the venue was – it’s somewhere really different, elegant, bright and airy; great for photos and lovely to be by the water. Plus, there’s a gallery for the children to run around in when they’re bored with all the wedding photos! The food was exceptional – lots of choice and perfectly cooked. Apart from the venue and the food, one of the best things about King’s Place was that we had our own wedding co-ordinator who really listened to us. A couple of my friends were getting hitched around the same time and their experiences were much more regimented. Our wedding co-ordinator was completely flexible and it made a big difference to our day. We had a champagne reception in the rotunda, photos by the water, and dinner & dj in the battlebridge room overlooking the canal. The bar and waiting staff were genuinely eager to help and worked really hard to make everything perfect. Thank you Kathryn and King’s Place for making our special day so special. It really was everything we wanted and more.
