We had our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening reception at Kimbridge Barn on 17.01.2026 and we wouldn't have changed anything for the world! We looked at a number of venues, and Kimbridge Barn ticked nearly all of our boxes, including price. We received a discount for having a winter wedding which meant we were able to put some additional funds into little extras for the big day. When we attended the Open Day back in February 2025, my husband cried at how lovely the venue was and so we knew it was the place for us. The support that the events team provided in the lead up to the wedding was amazing - even with some late night responses to last minute changes which were much appreciated! The whole day from start to finish was absolutely amazing, and passed by in the biggest, most wonderful blur. The barn is an amazing space and perfect for our autumn wedding, and all the incredible staff there really helped to make our day special. In particular, we would like to thank Helen who was so helpful at the start of our booking process and answered our many questions, Cassie from the events team who was amazing throughout the planning and wedding meetings, and Paul (general manager) who helped us with our food and wine tasting and also was amazing at co-ordinating our day. We booked our wedding at Kimbridge Barn for 11 September 2025. From the first moment we stepped through the front door, my husband and I both felt the warmth and atmosphere from the venue was exactly what we were looking for. The team at Kimbridge are amazing and helped us in any way they could, even helped with ideas for decorating the barn the day before when we went to set up and assisted us with the decorating. the day of the Wedding, the day flowed smoothly with no hiccup's and the Wedding Breakfast was amazing. We are currently on our honeymoon and still in a total dream state from our wedding day. Our reception and evening were hosted at Kimbridge Barn and I can honestly say the whole thing was exceptional. We fell in love with the venue as the relaxed, quaint and beautiful setting really matched the vibe we were looking for. To summarise, the whole wedding experience with Kimbridge was unforgettable - from the initial meetings with Hannah (who is fabulous) to the divine menu tasting, it was all so special. There were three main things things that made our reception at Kimbridge feel like a fairy tale and helped to make the wedding planning process enjoyable. Firstly the venue is beautiful, with versatile spaces that we made feel our own through decoration. Secondly, the food was delicious, with generous portions and many of our guests commenting on how much they enjoyed it. We were also grateful for how well they catered to allergies. We are so glad that we chose this beautiful venue for our wedding on 29th May 2025. We knew from the first visit that it was the one for us. Right throughout the planning process the events team have been exceptional in their responses and advice and all emails have been answered and actioned the same day. They were very helpful at our food tasting and flexible in terms of being able to slightly tweak the dishes. In fact on the day all food was beautifully presented and served by a great team. The quality of food was superb and testament to the excellent kitchen team. Throughout the day, Paul and his team were very pleasant, friendly, helpful, professional and on hand at all times. The comfortable seating indoors provided a great space for those who wanted to relax, while the outdoor fire pits created a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests who preferred to sit outside.
