Georgia in particular was there every step along the way to answer any question at any time and always there when I wanted to come in to ease my nerves! She made sure the entire day looked beautiful and went off without a hitch. The venue is stunning, you can’t beat being right on the coast as well as the beautiful grounds and gorgeous interior. We were married at Hythe Imperial in late March. We just wanted to send out a heartfelt thank you to all the staff for making the occasion a truly joyous and memorable one. Thank you to Tori and Georgia for all their hard work, guidance, input and calm (sometimes quite excitable) presence throughout planning, and thank you to Georgia for her organisational skills on the day. All the reception staff were great throughout our stay, supporting our guests to get settled in, sometimes with early check-ins, and it was lovely to meet with Portia again, as we started this whole experience with her showing us around last year. We got married at the Hythe imperial on 27/09/25 and from start to finish the whole experience was fantastic. Tori our wedding planner helped to bring our ideas to life, we chose the Twilight package then added things to suit our needs. All of our guests loved the hotel complimenting the whole staff team from the fantastic food to the cleanliness and the friendly staff. We found that with planning ahead our special day didn’t go over budget either. We would recommend going to the wedding fairs to get ideas to help you plan your big day. From our first meeting with the hotel to our wedding day they were brilliant! Very helpful, professional and just such a great team. Tori was always at the other end of the phone whenever we needed her. The whole team were so great on the day - even taking part in our peg game! The food was AMAZING! Everything ran so smoothly, it was the most perfect day in such a stunning venue. In December 2024, after 20 years together, we pensioners booked the Hythe Imperial Hotel for a small wedding planned for February 2025. Our event included the ceremony, a wedding breakfast, and two nights’ accommodation for 10 guests, with a deposit paid on December 5th. Unfortunately, my partner became severely ill over the Christmas period and beyond, requiring critical medical care. On January 6th, we notified the hotel by phone and email to cancel, explaining the situation and providing over six weeks’ notice. On January 10th, the hotel informed us that the full balance was still due under the terms and conditions. Despite our explanation, they offered no flexibility but proposed a small settlement discount of £245 (8.4%) if the balance was paid immediately. While we understand the importance of adhering to terms and conditions, we were saddened that the hotel did not consider our extenuating circumstances or the limited expenses incurred at that point. From our first enquiry till now even a week after our wedding the service from the hotel and all staff have been impeccable. Us and our guests wanted for nothing. Everyone was attentive, professional, respectful and kind. Everyone was approachable and gave great service. Our venue was fantastic value for money. I had a bridal suite booked for the night before the wedding and the room was absolutely stunning. My hair and make up had plenty of space to do their jobs and had been to the venue before and had nothing but complimentary things to say. We used the hotels recommend suppliers for our disco wich was sugar promotions and the DJ was fantastic. We also used Anderson crafts for our wedding stationary who are also a recommended supplier and the stationary was beautiful, supplied promptly, I think I have made friends for life there. Georgia was our main point of contact through our wedding planning and wow what can we say, friendly , professional, so attentive. Kept us informed of all processes from booking the wedding to the day. Really listened to our needs and the hotel kitchen were so accommodating to our guests dietary needs also. Our toastmaster Russell was wonderful at corralling our guests for photo opportunities and to the timetable of our day he also worked brilliantly alongside our wedding photographer florence berry. We had the most amazing day at the Hythe Imperial Hotel. The guys there are amazing , nothing is too much trouble, they are professional, friend and make you feel like there’s nothing to worry about. The day ran seamlessly, the location and building are beautiful. We stayed the night before and the night of the wedding, the rooms are beautifully decorated and super comfortable, we made use of the spa, with a relaxing massage each before our big day. We would not change a thing about our day here, it was perfect.
