Huntsham just has a different feel about it - since arriving that first time we looked around, we knew it was the place for us. What we loved: The Setting: The venue is incredibly grand and full of character, yet it's in no way pretentious and is such a relaxed place to have fun, unwind and bring people together. All Saints Church, which is just on the driveway of the estate, is a stunning setting to get married in too. The Dry Hire Policy: We loved curating our dream wedding here - the venue is dry hire, so we could bring together all of the suppliers we wanted and run an open bar, with no hidden fees or prescription menus or itineraries. The team also had some great trusted supplier recommendations. The bedrooms: the 42 bedrooms are outrageous - we had 100 guests stay with us for a mega 3 night wedding. Not one bedroom felt like a dud, and we got to eek out our big day over a full long weekend, which was truly unique for a UK wedding. We got married at St George's Church in Taunton and had our reception at Huntsham in February and it was the best decision we made! The venue was stunning inside and out, and we had so many compliments from our guests. The staff working the wedding were amazing, very attentive and helpful in keeping on top of everything and making sure the event flowed smoothly. The communication from Huntsham was considerate and open throughout, guiding us through the various planning stages and reassuring us that everything was in hand. Huntsham set us up with Laura, one of their regular wedding planners. We added on some extra planning hours and on the day support in addition to what was already included and we could not have asked for better support throughout the process. She went above and beyond to ensure the event went well and was incredibly knowledgeable. We loved that we could arrange our own suppliers at Huntsham, as this allowed us to tailor the experience to exactly what we wanted. They have a list of familiar suppliers, which we drew on for some parts of the day e.g. catering/flowers which made things run smoothly, but also chose some of our own such as the night before street food. The no corkage fee was a big selling point which made it more affordable for us. We had the venue from Friday afternoon to Sunday morning, meaning our guests could stay multiple nights. I cannot recommend Huntsham Court to host your wedding enough! The property is beautiful maintained, the rooms and grounds are gorgeous, the staff is friendly and well versed and the coordinators (ours was the beyond lovely Jenny from Event Leopard) are so supportive, helpful, and accessible. From start to finish planning, a self hire can be daunting but with Huntsham's trusted list of vendors familiar with the property and Jenny's expertise, it was a seamless process that resulted in the most magical of wedding weekends. Obviously as the bride I have quite the inherent bias on it being so wonderful but we had so many of our guests call the week afterwards gushing about how it was the most beautiful wedding weekend they'd ever been to. We had the most incredible experience at Huntsham! The setting is clearly absolutely stunning, but what really stands out is how practical and well thought-through it is too. They’ve genuinely covered everything. We had a winter wedding and it was perfect, fires lit, candles everywhere, warm and cosy atmosphere. It felt intimate and special. We got lucky with weather and using the grounds was amazing too. There’s just so much flexibility: indoor, outdoor, or church ceremony, great spaces inside that can be configured to your liking, in the grounds there are lawn games like croquet, space for football, and even tennis courts; it all just works. The team were exceptional from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with, from signing the contract to final payments to on-the-day coordination, was kind, professional, and incredibly helpful. Jo, Colin, and Sade were real standouts amongst the lovely staff, though every member of staff was fantastic. They know the venue inside out and keep everything running smoothly without you ever feeling it. It’s also genuinely all-inclusive. Décor, greenery, linen, games, setup, even a dedicated planner, it’s all handled. That made the whole process efficient and far less stressful. We loved getting married at Huntsham Court. The best parts for us were that it was dog friendly so our dog could be our ring bearer, we were allowed to bring our own alcohol with no corkage fee so we could have the drinks we wanted, flexibility to choose our own suppliers and accommodation on site so our family and friends could enjoy a whole weekend celebrating with us. Hunstsham has so many beautiful guest rooms and so many options of where you can have your ceremony, from a tipi, to a dovecote, the top lawn, the great hall, the yellow room, the options are endless. Our wedding at Huntsham Court was absolutely magical. All the staff bent over backwards to help us realise our (quite out-there!) vision of a gothic banquet/disco and were all incredible. There were so many moving parts to our day and they all went off without a hitch - not only that, but the team were universally incredibly friendly and fun to talk to. They really helped to make the day even more special. A particular thank you must go to Jennifer Crabb, who was our event planner given to us by the venue. She was our guardian angel - no request was too big and she seemed to have the biggest “little black book” of contacts and suppliers we’d ever seen. All in all, we wanted to do something that felt uniquely “us”, rather than a copy-and-paste country estate wedding, and Huntsham Court not only facilitated it, but really helped us to realise it. What a magical wedding venue! We had the best wedding weekend at Huntsham Court. We loved the flexibility of the venue - we did fish and chips and ice-cream on Friday, and then a full day on the Saturday. We loved having the full weekend, and the ability to have so many of our friends and family stay in the beautiful on site rooms. We celebrated our wedding weekend at Huntsham in June 2025 and it was beyond our expectation. We loved the venue as soon as we saw it, as it allowed us to host all our guests on site, but gave us the flexibility to do what we wanted without being tied to venue packages or offers! From start to finish the team at Huntsham were brilliant, we could visit whenever we needed to check details or plan, our planner (Laura) had great suggestions of what worked well and all the suppliers we selected from their website that were familiar with the venue already just knew exactly what to do. We had planned for an outdoor ceremony, but with weather not being on side, the team were so flexible to move everything indoors last minute, and the setup was amazing - we were actually happier we did the ceremony indoors than outside in the end - a silver lining to rain in June!! We had our wedding at Huntsham Court in April 2025 and had the best weekend of our lives! We could not recommend this venue more. We were initially interested in Huntsham due to its flexibility and the fact that it could be hired for an entire weekend -- we had many guests coming from the US so wanted to have a venue that offered a longer wedding celebration. It was love at first sight. We absolutely loved the look of the venue, both inside and out. There was no need to decorate the house, as it is already the perfect mix of cosy and fancy. The fact that nearly all of our guests could stay within the house was a MASSIVE bonus. We loved having all of our loved ones under one roof. We relished being able to get creative and to choose all of our vendors. This allowed us to make our wedding truly our own. We had pizza, ice cream, and a pub quiz on the Friday night. We even had baby lambs to pet! On Saturday we got married in the dovecote after having a bagel bar and our guests played croquet and boogied into the early hours. It was perfect. The Huntsham Court staff members are wonderful, too. We worked with Jennifer over the course of our wedding planning and during the weekend itself. She was super communicative and made us feel really calm. She handled many moving parts with great ease and she recommended so many great vendors and ideas over the course of the planning process. We got married at All Saints Church on the driveway of Huntsham Court, and then had all our celebrations at Huntsham Court in March 2025. It was the most incredible weekend, in one of the most stunning venues. Our guests, like us, were blown away by the grand building and the surrounding views. Friday night was a casual evening for guests to get to know each other, have a drink and dinner from a food van - then Saturday was the main event! The way Huntsham Court is run is so relaxed for such a historic location - a total dry hire, which means you organise everything yourself. That also means no corkage fees, which enabled us to stay within budget whilst offering an open bar for the full weekend. We were also allocated a freelance wedding coordinator (Laura) by the management of the building, who was able to help us understand how everything works, hire staff, organise bedroom setups, gather insurances from vendors etc. - all within the original fee. We additionally chose to pay Laura to be there on the wedding day, which was a great decision. The whole day went seamlessly with not a single hiccup (as far as us and our guests know!)... it

Words cannot describe how much we loved our wedding weekend. Our guests all said it was the best wedding that they have ever attended. It was perfect from start to finish. We started with a pizza and Prosecco party on the Friday night, a 5k wedding run Saturday morning followed by the traditional wedding day (with a church blessing at All Saints), finally finishing with a Sunday brunch. The venue is incredible and everyone was blown away by Huntsham Court. We didn’t need many decorations as it is so perfectly decorated by the owners with a huge Christmas tree as a perfect December touch. Everyone loved their bedrooms which are all so uniquely incredible (I wish I could spend a night each one!) From the moment we reached out to Huntsham in January, we were met with professionalism and excellence. Our wedding planner, Laura (Kept Weddings) was unbelievable - nothing was soo much trouble and everything ran seamlessly on the day bringing our exact vision to life. My mum would like to say a special thank you to Colin who saved the day with the cake! All the staff were also amazing and helped in every way possible. Each room is beyond beautiful - a candlelit dinner in the yellow room and library (my favourite room), dancing till the early hours in the great hall and wandering the grounds (even on a freezing day in December). Don’t even hesitate to book Huntsham - you could never be disappointed. We wish we could do it all over again (and again and again…). Thank you so so so much again.
