Since visiting the venue there has been excellent communication, flexibility in how to use the venue, Louise is very happy to answer questions and let us visit to work things out. Louise was also super helpful and attentive on the wedding weekend. The quarry was a stunning place for us to get married, and the hideaway was a lovely and comfortable retreat from the madness of the weekend. Holsome Park was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had the whole place for the weekend and they were able to cater to our needs and more. It is an absolutely beautiful location with gorgeous views and everything you need. Our friends and family had the best time and would love to do it all again. We had our festival style wedding at Holsome Park in June and it was incredible. The venue is beautiful and offers so much. We were able to have our ceremony in the gorgeous foxglove quarry which provided the perfect backdrop. We then partied the rest of the day and night away in the barn and surrounding wooded area.The views across Dartmoor are unrivalled, especially during golden hour and I cannot wait to see all our photos from the day. The bridal shepherds hut is also amazing. The venue is perfect if you want to DIY and really put your stamp on things. We were able to go in the day before and decorate ready for the big day. We hired bell tents and went for the camping option. It was so great to have family and friends staying on site for the weekend. Absolutely brilliant venue, and great value for money. Lots of flexibility with how you use the space. We used the beautiful quarry in the bottom field with a stunning view over Dartmoor, our guests were really impressed. Holsome Park was the most perfect venue for us as a couple. From day one of going to look around and meeting Louise we felt relaxed and at home with the venue. Nothing was too much trouble and Louise was always on hand to answer any questions we had. From the moment we visited Holsome Park we knew that it was the venue for us. The views are absolutely stunning and Louise and Graham are so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us. Throughout the whole process they were more than happy to answer any queries. Also allowed us to visit when we needed to bringing family as well. There are too many good things to say about this venue, Louise and Graham are absolutely amazing and always on hand to help with any requests (some of our elderly guests really appreciated the lift up the hill on the tractor!) They also moved our ceremony centrepiece during the day. And were really lenient with what time we could arrive to set up and pack up. From the moment we arrived at Holsome Park the view, peace and quiet and relaxed country surroundings made us both feel calm, content and happy. Meeting Louise and Graham secured everything for us- they were relaxed, flexible and listened to any ideas we had about how we wanted to personalise the venue. They made all our visions come to life and were flexible with payments. The toilet and shower facilities were in a better condition than some hotels and were clean, minimalistic a huge selling point for us was their disabled facilities. There was plenty of electric sockets and fridges we could use which enabled us to have Bacon and Egg rolls the next day! Louise and Graham ran the bar which they asked us for any specific drinks we’d like in, were such reasonable prices and did an amazing job serving all our guests. What can we say, Holsome Park ticked all the boxes for a DIY wedding. Stunning venue, multiple options for the marriage location, large covered barn, space for caterers, more outside space than you could ever use. Camping/vanning options. Close to the A38, but idyllic quiet location with uninterrupted views over to Dartmoor. Louise and Graham were super accommodating, and were on hand during the day to assist with making it go smoothly. Venue cost; we found the pricing structure super reasonable especially as we had been looking at marquee options. Infact the whole venue hire was around the same price as a marquee hire...without a venue. With the added bonus of hardwired power (no generator required), immaculate toilet and shower facilities (no toilet hire required), and waste removal (this was limited, which is fair enough, however we just disposed of glass and recycling ourselves). Holsome Park, what a truly incredible wedding venue! Louise and Graham, we cannot thank you enough! We could not have asked for a more perfect location for our wedding. The views, barn, camping field and wooded area allowed us to create the festival wedding that we wanted. You will not meet a nicer couple than Louise and Graham. They made the whole experience stress free and were very accommodating throughout the whole process. They were also incredibly helpful on the days before the wedding, when we decorated the venue and on the actual wedding day. Graham even gave our wedding party a farm tour the following day, which we all loved and marshmallows for the fire pit. One of the reasons we chose the venue was all of our guests could camp. Working with Louise to plan our wedding on Louise and Gray's farm was a very stress free experience. Louise was very easy going and was happy to accommodate changes / new ideas wherever she felt they could! They offered us so much by way of support and even had suggestions that really did make a difference to the day. Louise's son even took the littlies to feed the lambs during the 'downtime' on the day to keep them entertained, which we didn't realise had happened until we saw the photos! What a lovely little added extra. Louise, Gray and family ended up joining us for food and drink on the day as they had been such a big part of the process, which was really special. We started with a field and ended up with a full blown festival wedding venue in less than a year - it really was quite a miracle and ended up being really spectacular.
