From the moment we started planning, the team were so helpful, supportive and accommodating, making the whole process feel much less stressful. A special thank you to Sashen, the Wedding & Events Manager, who went above and beyond for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their communication, organisation and kindness throughout the planning and on the day itself were absolutely amazing. My wife and I were afforded an amazing experience from start to finish by Sashen and the team at Holiday Inn Dover for our wedding. No ask was to big and all our requests were met with professionalism, courteousness and care. The marquee itself is stunning and there was so much space. Our 70 guests were all seated and treated to a lovely 3 course wedding breakfast and were also able to take advantage of a large dance floor, a staffed bar and an evening buffet. We can thank the staff enough at the holiday inn. Our wedding was absolutely perfect. From the first moment we met Sashen to organise our wedding day we knew we were in good hands. The organising that Sashen provided was exceptional and it took pressure off ourselves. Attention to detail was second to none from the layout of the outdoor ceremony to the wedding breakfast. As mentioned our ceremony was outside as the weather was perfect, but an indoor room was also organised as a back up for bad weather, luckily it wasn’t needed but it was still very reassuring for us. We chose to have a church wedding and then chose the grand marquee at the Holiday Inn - Dover for the wedding breakfast and evening reception. It was the best decision we made. Not only was there so much flexibility but the cost was so reasonable. Sashen the wedding planner really worked hard to ensure we had a really special day. At each point Sashen confirmed and double checked all the finer details. On the day, everything went perfectly. The venue worked with our suppliers to ensure the marquee looked stunning and with the warm glow of the fairy lights just added the finishing touch. The waiting team were outstanding and they were so attentive and helpful. The food was delicious and everyone complimented us on how lovely it was but also how everyone was served at the same time which we know is not always an easy task at a big event like a wedding. But us and our guests were impressed but how the food was plentiful and still piping hot. We definitely liked the selection of courses available and our guests loved being able to have a choice. This venue was absolutely perfect for our wedding, From the first moment we visited we knew that it was the place for us. We wanted an afternoon wedding with one meal sitting so we could have all guests to the whole day. We went for their twilight package which was amazing value and we upgraded the buffet to a hog roast. The food was stunning, I’ve had nothing but complements. When the day came, nothing was too much. The amazing wedding coordinator was on hand all day to make sure it all went smoothly, we had brought our own cakes which they displayed perfectly, even labelling them for us when we forgot, and they were very understanding when we ran slightly behind, anything they did on the day they made sure to run past me to make sure that it was what I wanted. Both Sashen and Grace were wonderful and on hand the whole day to answer any questions I had. At every point during my experience with The Holiday Inn Dover I was listened to and any questions I had were answered swiftly: they were very good when we tailored the package to our need, adding and exchanging parts to make it exactly how we wanted it to be. The DJ was included in the package and he was fantastic taking everything I asked for into account and was very patient when we were asking for new songs on the day.
