Finding our wedding venue was honestly one of the hardest parts of planning. We visited several venues and, each time, left feeling a little deflated. They were beautiful, but something was missing. It often felt like they knew they’d get weddings booked regardless, so the experience felt quite impersonal. Our excitement was starting to fade, and we wondered if we’d ever find somewhere that just felt right. Then we drove up the driveway at Highfield Hall… From that very moment, we knew. Our venue tour was everything we’d been hoping for. It was warm, personal and so thoughtful. Before we’d even booked, the team took the time to walk us through exactly what our wedding day could look like—where everything would happen, how the day would flow and what we could expect. For the first time, it felt like our wedding mattered. It genuinely felt like we weren’t just another booking; we felt like the only couple in the world. And that feeling never changed. Every visit, every menu tasting, every email and every phone call reminded us that we’d chosen the right venue. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and every member of the team made us feel so valued. We were lucky enough to have Ella as our wedding coordinator, and she was simply incredible. I cannot recommend Highfield Hall enough as a place to hold one of the most important days of your life. From start to finish they have been so helpful. I asked so many questions on the run up and they've always been happy to help. Anna was our coordinator and what an absolute gem she was! It was wonderful to have someone who was so excited to make our day the best it could be. Her enthusiasm and helpful nature went such a long way to helping our day run smoothly and in a relaxed way. If there were any hiccups, she certainly made them unnoticeable and we cannot thank her enough. As well as Anna there was Tom, the bar supervisor, who made sure we had drinks and made the bar aspect run smoothly. There was also Macy and Matthew who were working the bar and were fantastic. Lyn, who took over from Anna for the evening, was great and made sure evening guests didn't miss the first dance when they arrived. Alongside the named team were all those who's names we did not get but who also played a huge part in making our day so special. Including the DJ who was included in the booking, taking pressure of finding someone! (Event Party DJs) The food was also fantastic and we had so many comments from people to say how lovely it was. Where do we even begin? Choosing Highfield Hall as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made, and we honestly couldn't have imagined a more perfect day. From the very beginning, the team were warm, professional, and incredibly supportive. They made the whole planning process feel so easy, and we always felt like we were in safe hands. On the wedding day, what amazed us most was how effortlessly everything came together. As the bride and groom, we were able to be completely present and enjoy every single moment because everything happened so seamlessly. Behind the scenes, the coordinators worked tirelessly alongside all of our suppliers to make sure every detail was taken care of. Wow, we aren’t sure where to start with this review! We got married at Highfield Hall on the 27th June 2026 and honestly, it could not have been any more perfect. From initial contact with the venue, to booking it (over 2 years ago), to the lead up to the wedding, and then the day itself, the team could not have been any more fantastic. Our on the day co ordinator Flo was incredible! Always answering any queries we emailed over quickly, and then ensuring the day ran so smoothly! Flo is such a lovely person too and nothing was too much trouble for her. In the evening, we had Iryna take over from Flo, who was also so so lovely and couldn’t do enough for us to ensure we were having the best day (Which we truly did). We also had Tom throughout the day, who again, was amazing. So lovely & also kept checking on us. A big shout out also to Kath who was there for breakfast the next morning & again, was brilliant. It was a hot day, but Highfield ensured we were as comfortable as possible, bringing us fans for the wedding breakfast & also constantly asking us if we needed anything & kept running to grab us glasses of water! We also had an incredibly busy day with quite a lot going on, but between Highfield, our Photographer & our Content Creator, they all worked together seamlessly to ensure the day ran smoothly and we fitted everything in. The venue is so beautiful and intimate without feeling small, we had around 80 people at our wedding and whist the venue could accommodate a lot more, nowhere felt empty and the rooms (both inside and out) were beautifully used! We were lucky with beautiful weather for our outdoor ceremony, and the setting couldn’t have been better. Planning a wedding is stressful but the staff at Highfield Hall make it much easier and less stressful! The venue is gorgeous, the food is delicious, the rooms are lovely, the entertainment is brilliant and the staff are super helpful and kind.
