The venue was very beautiful. We had very limited time to prepare the hall. They wanted us to do it on the day which was impossible. We needed that time for ourselves. We felt very rushed with everything. They only allowed us to stay until 1am. I had no time to enjoy the party. We were asked to strip the venue that night of all our equipment. I spent a lot of time worrying about that. It cut the party short because we had to do this. That spoilt our wedding. It's just like you are on a conveyer belt. They didn't care about your needs as long as they could get you out to get the next guest in. This really put a dampener on our experience. It was over priced. They charged for everything. From the moment we first visited Goosedale we felt it had that special feel As a wedding venue. I cannot fault any part of the service they provided on our wedding day! The staff were extremely helpful and never rushed any part of the day. They never interrupted just waited to tell us what was happening next when convenient to us. Our reception in the garden room was brilliant and due to it being a fabulous sunny day we had the doors open to bring the outside in, perfect on a summers evening. The room looked amazing, the team did a fab job setting it up to my exact planned instructions! All our guests commented on how brilliant the whole day was, several stating it was the best venue they had been to for a wedding! Food was outstanding! Would recommend this venue to any
