Fruin Farm

I think the thing that sticks in my memory from Fruin is how well the staff looked after us. While we were planning the wedding I must have emailed them a hundred times with all manner of questions about what we need, things that happen on the day, and they happily answered all of them. On the day they were always on hand to make sure we were okay (an example, a plate of canapés and two drinks appeared when we were having our photos taken- very much appreciated since it was a warm day and we hadn't eaten for a while) and they made sure things ran smoothly. A big thanks to Rebecca, Wayne and their team. The venue itself is lovely, situated in the hills around Loch Lomond; the most the venue can accommodate is 60, but we felt a little tight with only 50. The venue has a wonderful outside space with a view towards Loch Lomond, and the Main Room looks out onto this space, we had our ceremony and dancing in the Main Room. From the moment we met Rebecca and Wayne, we knew this was our venue. Of course, the setting itself is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside, fields, and animals, with breathtaking views across Loch Lomond - but what truly made Fruin Farm stand out was Rebecca and Wayne. From our very first meeting, they were warm, kind, relaxed, and genuinely interested in helping us create the wedding we wanted. There was never any pressure, and they were refreshingly transparent about costs and what was included. After visiting several venues where every little detail seemed to come with an additional charge, it was such a relief to meet people who were upfront, honest, and clear from the start. During what can be an overwhelming and stressful process, their approach immediately put us at ease. From that point onwards, their communication was great. Any questions or concerns we had were answered promptly, and they were incredibly supportive throughout the planning process. As the wedding approached, they helped coordinate the final details and made everything feel manageable and organised. On the wedding day itself, we were completely blown away. Rebecca and Wayne worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure everything ran seamlessly. Their attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for both us and our guests was evident in every aspect of the day. They guided us through each stage, adapted effortlessly whenever plans changed, and helped coordinate special touches - including incorporating our piper into the cake-cutting - making everything feel smooth and natural. The food deserves a special mention. It was simply outstanding. We genuinely don't think we heard a single negative comment from any guest. In fact, several people told us it was the best wedding meal they had ever had. The food was restaurant quality, beautifully presented, and served incredibly efficiently. Every order was correct, and the standard exceeded all of our expectations. The service throughout the evening was equally impressive. The team looked after our guests brilliantly, and small gestures demonstrated the level of care that sets Fruin Farm apart. For example, when some of our allocated wine wasn't used during dinner, Rebecca and Wayne simply added the value to the bar tab so guests could enjoy other drinks instead. That level of flexibility, honesty, and thoughtfulness is something we hadn't experienced at larger venues, and it perfectly reflects the integrity with which they run their business. At the end of the night, all of our decorations, personal belongings, and keepsakes had been carefully packed away and organised for us to collect. Everything was treated with such care. We were also touched by the personalised card from Rebecca and Wayne, congratulating us and sharing a little piece of wedding advice. It was a lovely gesture and one of many examples of the personal touches that make Fruin Farm so special. Looking back, our wedding day was everything we hoped it would be and more. Rebecca and Wayne's kindness, attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine love for what they do shine through in every interaction. They don't just provide a wedding venue - they create an experience that makes couples and their families feel genuinely cared for. Thank you both

We’re not sure how to even begin to express our thanks to Wayne and Rebecca at Fruin Farm, but we are SO, so very grateful to you and your AMAZING team for making our day on Saturday so incredible. Rebecca – we honestly cannot stop talking about how fantastic you were the morning of our wedding. I was so nervous and stressed out in the bridal suite, but you had such a calming presence and knew exactly how to reassure me that everything was taken care of and everything was going to be ok. It was a very welcome refuge in the sea of chaos (ill-fitting jackets, misplaced corsages, last minute confetti/petal cones, wrinkled veil etc, etc) and we couldn’t have got through it without you!! The barn, tables and everywhere looked absolutely gorgeous and it was just magical seeing all the little tid-bits we brought all come together for our wedding. Wayne – you were such a fantastic host and really kept the energy up the entire night, everyone loved you! It was such a fun party and we know all our guests had a blast – we definitely did too! Having the fire pit was a nice touch, and it felt really special having the whole farm to ourselves and our guests. And thank you also particularly for being so patient to answer all our emails and seemingly endless questions on the lead up to the day. All our guests were so complimentary about absolutely everyone on your team, and we were so well taken care of throughout the day and night – the thoughtfulness and attentiveness of your team definitely did not go unnoticed. We still can’t believe how smooth and organised it went, liaising with all the suppliers and even having everything packed away the next morning as well, you guys are amazing!!! Additionally, John and I absolutely loved the bridal / honeymoon suite (the bath is amazing – it honestly saved me the night before and gave me a chance to unwind before the big day) – and the room / bed / everything was so comfortable and beautiful. Got married here at the start of November and it was the most perfect day from start to finish. The farm is absolutely beautiful, even on a dull autumn day. We would absolutely recommend this very quirky and bespoke venue! From the early stages of planning Wayne and Rebecca helped us craft and build our very personal wedding day. We had a wonderful wedding day at Fruin Farm, venue was fabulous, food magnificent and the host and all the staff at Fruin farm could not have been more helpful to make our day so wonderful and memorable. The support given to us in organising the day was exceptional and made it so easy for us and no request was too much, organising the wedding breakfast, decoration of the venue, our wedding cake and more, even organising a Llama walk for the two of us and some of our guests which added a lovely twist for the children and grown-ups. My husband and I were married at the beautiful Fruin Farm in May this year after coming across it by total chance. We had had a long search for the perfect venue for our special day and It was everything we dreamed it would be and more. Right from the first point of contact, the owners couldn't be more helpful. It was a joy to deal with them on the run up to our wedding, with little visits to the farm for lunch. They are such lovely, genuine hardworking people who put their souls into their venue. The barn itself is an amazing blank canvas to shower with your own decor, although just as beautiful bare, with its exposed rustic brickwork. Our whole day was fantastic! Our intimate ceremony was followed by photographs taken amoungst the bluebells in the woods at the bottom of farm, such special memories. The animals were friendly and full of personality. We celebrated our wedding in October 2018 at Fruin Farm. We loved the freedom and the 'blank slate' they provided us with to be able to have the day exactly as we wanted it. Wayne and Rebecca were incredibly helpful at all stages along the planning process, which was great as it can be a really stressful experience! We had a wonderful day - we were worried about the cold weather in the barn, but it turned out that Wayne and Rebecca had anticipated this already, and we had a lovely stove to keep things warm and cosy.
