We are so extremely lucky to have been married at Farbridge in June 2026. It is one of the most beautiful, immaculately kept barns set within the rolling hills of the South Downs. Yet it is the staff that make this venue exceptional. Their warmth, knowledge, organisation and communication from your first viewing to looking after you/ your guests on the day itself is second to none. Julie, Nicky and the entire team took the meaning of going above and beyond to the next level for our wedding. They just handled the entire balls up from the florist so well, and never once gave off any feeling of being stressed. You helped keep the groom very calm despite panicking quite badly inside. It’s also impressive how the bride had no idea and how you threw a bouquet together so elegantly. Throughout the entire day you just kept going above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and ensure the day went exactly as we wanted. Our videographer was telling us how much time you guys spent sorting the flowers, handpicking flowers, Julie making up buttonholes and everything else that clearly was going on behind the scenes that we had no idea about! Despite this, you kept handling our millions of nit picky requests along the way with a smile and we just wanted to say the biggest thank you for that. I know we moved quite a few timings around to help us get the most from the day and we appreciate you being so flexible with us. We’ve both worked in events before and know how much work goes in to these kinds of things, so it truly doesn’t go unnoticed how much you and the team did for us. From the moment we first viewed Farbridge in 2024, we just knew it was where we wanted to get married. There was something so incredibly special about it, and we could immediately picture celebrating our wedding there. Somehow, the actual day managed to exceed every expectation we had. Imogen and Jess were absolutely fantastic from start to finish and genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. From steaming the dresses on the morning of the wedding, to making sure every little detail was taken care of and that the day ran seamlessly, we felt completely looked after throughout. At the same time, everything felt relaxed and personal to us — even when we decided we wanted to extend our drinks reception because we were enjoying it so much, they listened to us and made it happen without any fuss. We had the pleasure of working with Ells and she was perfect, so quick to respond, so personable and just all round lovely to work with to create our wedding day. From the first visit we knew it was our venue. They were so flexible and excited for us and our ideas. The no corkage was an amazing bonus. Since booking our wedding nearly two years ago, Ellie has been incredibly supportive and fully engaged with the process. From the tasting banquet to dial in our menu, right through to recommendations on drinks and timings, we felt supported every step of the way. No request was too much, from advising us on best locations and timings for suppliers, to accommodating friends and families dietary requirements, with disability access noted as superb throughout the venue! The chef met with us personally to ensure the Children's meals were what they needed, and went above and beyond to create a personalised evening dish that every single guest absolutely loved... The day of our wedding was stress free as our final details meeting was the day before, in meticulous detail and executed perfectly, from the music, to the personalised gits being presented at the right time. Every last one of our guests has complimented the venue for how it was presented, how superb the service was throughout the day, and how good the food tasted. I had my wedding at farbridge recently on 14th of May and wow! We were so impressed with farbridge and all the staff who work here. Eleanor made our day run so smoothly and made us feel so comfortable. We knew our special day was in good hands. The venue is so beautiful, it is the first venue we viewed and nothing compared to it. The views will give you the best photos, it also feels super private and exclusive to you which was really important to us on our big day. The rooms were absolutely stunning, super clean, and the beds were really comfortable. there is also a bath in all of the guest rooms which I thought was a really lovely touch and something all of my guests commented on. Every time I walked into the venue I knew I had chosen the right place, especially if you see it on a sunny day you can’t compare it. If you are a foodie, the food that they serve is also amazing. Before your wedding day they invite you for a lovely taster session with other married couples which they decorate the venue as if it’s a wedding. It really gives you a feel for your big day. You get to try the food and see what is to come which was so lovely. All of my guests were so impressed by the food on the day also . I had 3 different wedding coordinators whilst i was planning my wedding with farbridge (no fault of them, lots of people going on maternity leave and coming back etc) but each and everyone of them made sure they helped me with any little details, I got responses to emails really quickly, even when it was small little questions, and they really made sure I had thought of all the little detail
