We first came across Fairyhill when taking our dogs for a beach day at Rhossili. Fairyhill was only the second venue we visited but we instantly fell in love with this gorgeous property. In particular, the K Room resembles an elegant tree house as it sits nestled amongst the trees and is flooded with luscious natural light. The team were incredible and the day was seamless, despite us testing and pushing timings on a number of occasions. We did not have to think about anything as it was all taken care of and with great charm and humour. We have received a large number of compliments about the food, with a number of guests saying it is the best they have ever had. Every dietary requirement was catered for and we were very impressed by the meal service where each course was delivered to the correct person without interruption. Cleanliness. I was very impressed by how clean the venue was the next morning when I came down for coffee at 0800. Even more remarkable as guests only went to bed at 0200! Cost. Wedding are expensive and it is hard to avoid that fact. There are also naturally a number of additional costs. However, I never felt we were nickel-and-dimed by the venue. Our wedding day at Fairyhilll at the end of October 2023 was nothing short of magical. The venue's enchanting atmosphere during an autumnal day, coupled with the impeccable service, made it an unforgettable experience. From the moment we stepped onto the grounds, we were greeted by a sense of charm and elegance that set the tone for the entire celebration. The staff at Fairyhill went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawlessly executed with a few little surprises thrown in for good measure throughout the day! Special mention must go to Alex, our event manager, whose dedication and expertise were instrumental in making our day seamless. Alex's meticulous planning and attentive presence allowed us to relax and fully immerse ourselves in the joy of the occasion. Our guests were equally captivated by the venue, describing it as a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth, leaving an indelible impression on everyone present and the food was outstanding. Often, wedding food can be a forgettable aspect, but at Fairyhill, it was nothing short of a gastronomic delight. The carefully crafted menu not only satisfied the palate but left a lasting impression on our guests. The attention to detail in the presentation and the quality of local ingredients showcased the culinary expertise of the venue's chefs. Fairyhill not only provided a stunning backdrop for our celebration but also a team of professionals who genuinely cared about making our day extraordinary - from our first visit, through the planning process and on the day itself.

We had high expectations for our special day and had researched so much in our decision. This looked on surface as perfect, however communication up to the day was very late or lacking often having to wait for managers (only seem to work one day a week) to reply. There were also hidden charges which we weren't told about beforehand which we didn't resolve until a few weeks before our wedding. This caused alot of stress for us. On the day so many things were not as previously agreed. Food options were changed without our knowledge, meal plans were changed, people didn't receive what they ordered... To top it off a few of our items were lost or damaged by this venue, including part of my wedding dress! One staff member, our driver, was excellent and the bar staff were super friendly. Apart from that though some staff didn't even smile. We even asked for our overnight items to be taken to our room but had to do this ourselves during the day. I was very disappointed and after complaining I was given a written apology and offered no compensation, but only a hamper basket by way of apology, that 2 weeks later still hasn't arrived. WOW, where on earth do we start? We got married here on the 17th March shortly after the opening of the new 'Kaleidoscope' room and it was incredible. The staff are so incredibly hardworking, kind and attentive and certainly treated us like absolute VIPs and do certainly know how to put on a good wedding! The ceremony and wedding breakfast room was absolutely breathtaking with outstanding views and grounds. The food was out of this world and there were no issues catering for special dietary requirements; our vegan and vegetarian guests were equally thrilled with their meals. We really don't know how the food was still so delicious catering for 110 guests; the best arancini that we have ever tasted, the beef literally melted in our mouths and the white chocolate cheesecake was also the best we've ever had, the amuse bouche and champagne sorbet courses were an excellent additional treat! The food throughout our stay; breakfast/wedding breakfast/evening buffet - was absolutely incredible with all guests catered for and everyone thoroughly enjoyed - massive compliments to the chef from us all. Our day ran perfectly from start to finish thanks to Jo, Millie, Dan & the team - who all remained so kind and attentive throughout. Our guests, my husband and I were treated incredibly with nothing being too much trouble - and for that we are sincerely grateful. From the moment we first stepped through the door at Fairyhill we knew we had found the venue of our dreams ?? Throughout the planning process we attended on a number of occassions, meeting many of the team, including owner Nigel, who were all, each time, as equally welcoming as the first. We would like to thank our wedding coordinator Jo - and Millie, for all of your help towards achieving the very best from our day and for always being available to answer any questions, you are both such an asset to the team ?? Our Wedding took place on Friday 12th October, which happened to be the weekend that Storm Callum hit ???? The night before I felt slightly disheartened that this may put a 'dampener on our day' - but I could not have been more wrong!! With all fireplaces roaring and candles adorning every room the venue looked BEAUTIFUL and the atmosphere inside was so cosy & relaxed - the k room ooked spectacular and we hardly noticed our uninvited guest, 'Callum', outside. After always wanting a destination wedding, travelling to and nearly booking Croatia and Portugal something wasn’t right, someone mentioned fairyhill so we came down to see. We only stepped through the door and knew at that moment that was our wedding venue even before the amazing k room. It is unbelievably beautiful, so amazing but so different to all other venues around wales, nowhere else compares. All of your staff are amazing, so kind and genuine and still so professional. The food is the best we have ever tasted, outstanding, all our guests were wowed by every dish and canapé. All the little inbetweeners were perfect too. Where do I start... our wedding day was 06.12.18 and from the moment I stepped inside (November 2017) I knew this was where I wanted to become Mrs Leach, where I knew our guest's would be in the best hands and have as much of a memorable day and night as we would. From the breath taking views and scenery to the beauty of the historic house and the newly built chic k room's. We stayed the night before at cerrig glan and the night of at fairyhill. Nothing was too much trouble and the day was just as I had envisaged 12 months prior. Everything went to plan and if there was a problem I didn't know it. We had the most magical weekend at Fairyhill in December 2018. They have a wonderful team, who helped make our wedding as special as it was. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel at home - they take such pride in what they do and always sought to go above and beyond. From the beautiful setting, to the delicious food, we can't recommend Fairyhill enough. This place will remain with us forever and we so wish we could do it all over again!
