Exmouth Country Lodge is a wedding venue in Exmouth, Devon, on the outskirts of the East Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and minutes from the Jurassic Coast. Situated within the Prattshayes Campsite, formerly known as Prattshayes, the property once belonged to the family of Sir Francis Drake. The history of the place and the natural beauty of its surroundings make Exmouth Wedding Venue a uniquely magnificent setting for an unforgettable wedding celebration. Facilities and Capacity Exmouth Country Lodge is a licensed wedding venue with several event areas. The Orchard is a perfect setting for a romantic outdoor ceremony. It has a lovely pagoda; couples are also welcome to use the site for daytime festivities. The Cob Barn, which dates back to the 16th century and is perfect for intimate ceremonies. The reception barn is a versatile space with fixed bars, a cosy lounge mezzanine, and plenty of character. The large Courtyard is the perfect gathering area and a great place to enjoy welcome drinks. Exmouth Country Lodge can seat 100 wedding breakfast guests; its capacity increases to 250 for the evening reception. The venue provides overnight accommodation for 28 guests. We have a campsite next door that you or your guests can book. Services Offered Exmouth Country Lodge is available for exclusive use. The wedding package also includes two nights' accommodation for 28 guests. The venue specialises in relaxed, informal weddings, and couples are welcome to source the outside caterers, florists, entertainment, and other suppliers they need to design the wedding of their dreams.we have a dedicated team who will be on hand every step of the way to help make sure your dreams come true.

We loved this venue years before getting engaged, we camped on a little holiday and thought how lovely it would be for a wedding. Fast forward six years and that’s what we did. We had from Friday to Monday there which was all included, leaving lots of time for prep. James and I got married here in sept 24. Our theme was an Alice in wonderland Mad hatters tea party. Anita put our minds at ease from the word go, nothing was too much trouble. She was approachable and contactable. On the day Anita offered lots of support, taking the stress away from us so that we could enjoy ourselves. The barn and grounds are well maintained and the accommodation on site is a god send

We are overwhelmed with our wedding being more magical, personal and better than we could ever have dared hope. The exceptional service from Anita and the team at The Exmouth Country Lodge wedding venue made every aspect easy and stress free. Anita has such knowledge and passion for making every wedding the best it can be, she’s genuinely as dedicated as if it were her own day. The venue offered us the perfect balance of relaxed and informal but with a rustic charm. Being able to access the venue and stay on site meant we got everything done (with Anita’s generous assistance!) the day before and we and our guests were thoroughly looked after for what turned out to be our perfect wedding! Anita recommended the DJ (DJ Shindig) & caterers (The Ginger Pig Hog Roast co.) who turned out to be perfect for us and the use of the outside space for lawn games & general mingling was wonderful.
