Formerly the country seat of the Armitstead family, this striking Grade II listed house is set amidst 20 acres of stunning grounds, creating the perfect backdrop for your special day. Facilities and Capacity De Vere Cranage Estate is a licensed venue and offers a choice of indoor and outdoor event areas. The pretty garden pagoda and outdoor terrace are splendid throughout the warmer months. The simple elegance of the Appleton Suite, with its delightful period features and sparkling chandelier, makes it a popular choice for ceremonies and smaller wedding celebrations. This space can accommodate up to 70 guests for a ceremony and up to 40 guests for a wedding reception. The Baird Suite, with its large windows giving lots of natural daylight this is a popular suite offering the benefit of direct access out onto our patio area. The Baird suite can cater for up to 140 people for both a wedding ceremony and a seated wedding breakfast. In the evening the Baird suite can hold up to 160 guests. The Stephenson Suite, is our largest room which can cater for up to 250 guests for both a wedding ceremony and a seated wedding breakfast. For your evening the room can cater for up to 270 people.The suite is fully air-conditioned and fantastic for larger celebrations and cultured weddings. From the day we enquired as to availability to the big day itself we were never disappointed by the service we received. The venue is perfect - plenty of rooms for everyone to stay, the choice to get married inside or out, gorgeous grounds for the perfect photographs, and plenty of space. The staff are amazing; nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel like their only bride and groom (despite us getting married on the bank holiday and finding out afterwards they had 4 weddings in 4 days!) Our wedding day went so smoothly thanks to the staff at Cranage Hall, they were exceptional, our wedding co-ordinator Micheal did his upmost to make sure that nothing went wrong.
