Look no further for your wedding venue!! This venue is absolutely beautiful and so well thought out as a wedding venue. The day ran so smoothly and the staff were so friendly. We had the most amazing weekend at Cottesmore two weeks ago. In the days, weeks and months leading up to the wedding, the communication from Julie and Jackie in the events team, Lorraine and Kerry in the accommodation team, and Alyssa and Luke in Food & Beverage was exemplary. They were always on hand to help with any requests and responded positively and promptly. The venue is stunning: modern, clean, spacious and adaptable to your needs. Both the indoor and outdoor ceremony options are beautiful, although we ultimately opted for the outdoor setting. The food was exactly as we remembered from the tasting, both in flavour and presentation, and the tasting itself was a delight. The canapés were fantastic, and the drink options were popular too! One of the venue's standout features is the range of on-site accommodation available. In addition to the hotel rooms available on the Saturday night (and on the Friday night if they are not required for another wedding), there are also seven self-catered lodges that can be booked for the entire weekend. Having around 75 of our guests staying on site transformed the wedding into a wonderful weekend-long celebration. We would recommend Cottesmore to anyone who will listen. We honestly couldn’t have chosen a more perfect venue than Cottesmore for our wedding. From the moment we booked, the team made us feel completely looked after. Their professionalism, kindness, and attention to detail meant we could relax and enjoy every moment, knowing everything was in safe hands. So many of our guests commented that it was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. We were also incredibly impressed by how accommodating the team were with dietary requirements. Some of our guests had quite complex dietary restrictions, and every meal was prepared with such care and attention, ensuring everyone felt included and could enjoy the day without worry. One of the things we loved most was that so many of our family and friends were able to stay overnight. The hotel rooms were beautiful, comfortable, and made the whole celebration feel even more special. Waking up the following morning and enjoying a lovely breakfast together was the perfect way to round off such an unforgettable weekend. We first viewed Cottesmore in January 2024 and instantly fell in love with how modern and picturesque the venue was. We went back for a second viewing and honestly we couldn’t stop talking to all our family and friends about the Cottesmore. So when we went back we booked our date, Saturday 23rd May 2026. The whole process was lovely and Jackie explained our next steps. We heard frequently from Jackie via email and the whole communication from January 2024 to May 2026 was incredible. We got invited for menu tasting and when I tell you the food was incredible it was INCREDIBLE! Since the wedding we have had guests say to us how they still can’t get over the beef! Our final meeting was simple and Jackie went over the final steps and gave us our final invoice. The wedding day was absolutely incredible! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From the moment we first viewed it right through to our wedding day, the team went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and ensure we had the most amazing experience. Every detail was taken care of and the staff were professional, friendly, and always happy to help with any questions or requests we had. Unfortunately, some of the spa facilities were not working on the weekend of our wedding which some of our guests were disappointed about. The communication was always quick and our questions were answered throughout the whole experience. The menu tasting was incredible, we were stuck for a few days with what to choose because everything tasted amazing! The wedding breakfast itself was absolutely amazing and we even had guests complimenting the chefs personally! She was really helpful which made the wedding planning process a lot smoother! We decided to have the getting ready room for the morning of our wedding which I highly recommend as it’s a lovely area to get ready with all your girls while being closed off from the groom and the rest of your guests. We would recommend a toilet in this room though as you need to go back to one of the hotel rooms which the girls helped me to hide so I wouldn’t see my groom before walking down the aisle. On our wedding day, everything was organised perfectly, allowing us to relax and enjoy every second with our family and friends. A lot of our guests complimented how stunning the venue was and how wonderful the staff were. We decided to get married outside as the dedicated area was absolutely stunning! The staff set up this outdoor area perfectly and we had the wedding we both dreamed about. From the moment we viewed the venue, to being the last on the dance floor at our wedding, everything was smooth and extremely professional. Nothing was too much trouble and they catered to various dietary needs with no fuss. The food was incredible and our guests couldn't stop talking about it! We cannot recommend Cottesmore highly enough!! There are genuinely not enough words to describe how incredible our whole experience was with them, our wedding day was quite literally perfect!! Jackie and Julie are fabulous! They were always so quick to reply to our many silly questions over email and were incredibly helpful! They were there on the day to make sure everything ran smoothly for us, and even came to find us the morning after to check-in with us! The entire Cottesmore team went the extra mile for us and everyone was so kind! Cottesmore is such a fantastic venue to have your wedding at! The grounds are beautiful. There is plenty of lovely hotel rooms for your guests to stay in. Also Jackie and Julie make the planning process so easy! They are superstars! We went for the bbq menu and it was so delicious!! Wow - we couldn't of asked for more from Cottesmore! We got married in April 2026, and the staff were absolutely incredible from start to finish. The food was delicious and all the drinks were great. The staff were attentive, cheerful and couldn't do enough for us. They also paid attention to the little things, like making sure me and my husband got some canapes and drinks of our choice on the day. We loved how the room expanded to meet our needs throughout the day as we moved from wedding breakfast to disco in the evening. Due to personal circumstances, we had to move our wedding date, and Julie and Jackie were incredibly understanding and supportive throughout the process, making what could have been a stressful situation so much easier for us. One of the biggest bonuses was being able to stay the night before with family and friends, which made the whole experience feel even more special and extended the celebrations. It was so lovely spending that extra time together before the big day, and our children loved being able to enjoy a swim too, which made the whole weekend feel like a mini getaway for everyone. Another highlight was that my husband was able to enjoy a game of golf the day before, which helped him relax and unwind before all the excitement! A huge thank you to Julie and Jackie, who were amazing from start to finish. They were so organised, supportive, and always on hand to help with any questions. We also loved that we had the flexibility to choose our own suppliers, which made the day feel even more personal to us. Another huge plus was that there wasn’t a strict sound limiter like many other venues we looked at, which meant we could really enjoy the evening celebrations. Our day ran seamlessly from start to finish! Jackie and Julie were a pleasure from initial meet to the Wedding day itself. The venue is stunning, the food was amazing and the waiting staff were flawless. I just wish I could do it all again!
