Honestly, the perfect venue for our festival-style, beachy-themed wedding! The surroundings are absolutely stunning—so peaceful, with such a lovely atmosphere. There was plenty of space for all our guests, and it was even better that everyone could camp. The tipis were so cute and made for the best weekend. So many of our guests complimented the setting, and being able to swim in the lake was such a highlight too! We’d always wanted a relaxed, chilled wedding, and we said we wouldn’t stress too much about decorating because the venue is such a beautiful blank canvas on its own—and we were right. Yes, it’s absolutely like the fairytale photos. Lizzie, Kim & the team go above and beyond for you to ensure you have the best day. We were hit with some pretty wet and windy weather, meaning we had to change our whole ceremony set up about an hour before it was due to begin. They made it all happen so quickly and the guests didn’t know any different. Everyone that works there are so lovely and hard working

Thank you so much for helping to make our day the best day of our lives. When viewing wedding venues Cornish Tipis was initially a wild card as we were set on getting married on the beach. However, after viewing Cornish Tipi Weddings with Kim we instantly fell in love with the venue and knew we couldn’t get married anywhere else- it was the perfect venue for a fairy tale, midsummers nights dream wedding in the woods crossed with a festival. It’s the perfect blend of working with experts who have clearly done so many weddings before, but the DIY nature of the venue means that you can really add your own touch to the decoration and the day can be completely what you want it to be. You’re in full control of the order of the events and how you want your wedding to be. It was really important to us that everything happened in one place for our wedding so that guests could turn up on Friday and not have to leave if they didn’t want to until the Sunday morning after the wedding. There was a yellow weather warning for rain for our wedding an it was still incredible! Kim liaised with with all of our suppliers to make sure they were fully informed and told us everything we had to bring for the venue- along with plenty of organisation tips and tricks. My partner and I were married recently on the grounds of Cornish Tipi Weddings. As the title to the review suggests, the location was absolutely stunning, the grounds are quite clearly maintained enough to stop it from being overrun, yet not so much that the area's natural beauty is inhibited. I know that we cannot control the weather, however for the date, you couldn't have asked for better. The sun kept us relaxed and the very slight breeze kept us all cool whilst we were out on the lake surrounded by further breathtaking views. The team over at Cornish Tipi are second to none, from the first initial meet and greet we felt both welcome and supported (which was a massive relief, since neither of us had been married before so didn't know what to expect...) Not one question was too obvious to answer and not a single request denied. Whilst the admin and wedding staff were amazing, there was one gent on the team that stood out to us all (guests included), his name is John, the amount of times that he ran up and down the entire venue to ensure we had anything and everything we needed or wanted, can not be counted on one two hands alone. (Needless to say, we had to force some cake onto him and the team there that day for being absolute superstars!) Nothing at all was too much trouble for him. The day as a whole was the best of our lives. If we went back in time, even with more options, I truly believe we'd still have chosen this one. We recommend this venue to anyone that wants to add a little peace and nature to their wedding, the team are more than happy to get stuck in with any ridiculous request, will help with decorating and moving things around and appear to be genuinely happy to be there with you. We had the most amazing experience with Cornish Tipis. In the year leading up to the wedding they were always friendly, responsive and helpful on email, and when we visited the venue. Our first look round with Kim confirmed to us it was the place for us, as we loved the relaxed but organised vibe, and how much choice you have with what you do. It has such a warm feeling and so many of our guests were blown away by our ceremony on the pontoon looking over the lake and the most asked question being 'how did you find this place?!'. It felt like a dream come true :) It was the perfect mix and combination of a DIY wedding that you could make and personalise yourself but also had the amazing support and help from the staff to make it exactly as we pictured and put my mind at ease. We spent years dreaming of a quiet, intimate wedding surrounded by nature and Cornish Tipi Weddings was perfect. Walking down the steps to the sound of birdsong felt like a fairytail. We married on the jetty on a sunny day and everything was stunningly beautiiful. We celebrated after the ceremony in the pavilion, and as there were only 15 of us in total, ate our meal in their too. You made everything seem so effortless, and even calmed us down before the ceremony (not an easy job to take on!). You really went above and beyond for us, and we are so grateful.
