Cockliffe Country House was everything we could have hoped for and more. From the moment we booked, the communication was excellent and the whole team made the planning process feel so much less stressful. Anna, Andrea and especially Ellie were absolutely incredible. They were always available to answer questions, offer advice and help us navigate all the little details that go into planning a wedding. Nothing was ever too much trouble, and their experience and knowledge gave us complete confidence that everything was under control. On the day itself, everything ran seamlessly. We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding knowing that the team had everything in hand. They were professional, organised, accommodating and genuinely cared about making our day special. What really stood out was how effortlessly they made everything look. I don’t know where to start. From the beginning, Cockliffe has been truly amazing. From day 1 to our wedding day, they have handled everything I have thrown at them. Cockliffe is a beautiful venue, showered in fairy lights for an elegant nighttime adventure. The food was loved by everybody. The drinks were delicious. The staff were incredible. Especially the events managers. I could not recommend this place more. Planning a wedding is daunting and they’ve made this a beautiful experience for myself and my partner.

We honestly can’t recommend Cockliffe House enough, it was amazing from start to finish. We got married on 20/06 and Andrea and the team did an amazing job, the day went so smoothly, there were zero stresses. Nothing was too much trouble, e.g. I had a light up sign on my floral arch which I had a battery pack for, that ran out of battery without me knowing, but Andrea sorted it all out got an extension lead for it and sorted it all without us even knowing so didn’t have to stress about it!! The house is so so lovely, great for photos and the garden is kept to a very high standard. The serving staff are so lovely and friendly, nothing was too much trouble. All of our guests have said after the day how much they enjoyed it, how lovely the venue, the food and the staff were. There is not one bad thing to say about it, just amazing. We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue. From our very first appointment right through to the wedding day itself, everything was absolutely amazing. Every member of the team was so welcoming, helpful, and attentive, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. Any ideas or personal touches we wanted to include were completely embraced, which made the whole experience feel so special and personal to us. Joanne and the team on the day were incredible. Everything ran so perfectly from start to finish, and we felt completely relaxed knowing we were in such safe hands. Where do I even begin, Cockliffe country house was an amazing place to get married. We first went along to one of the event days, after seeing lots of other venues we knew Cockliffe was the place we wanted to get married. The staff were incredible and couldn’t do enough for us, we was invited to a menu tasting evening - the food was incredible! But the night itself was also a great way to speak to other couples, see the venue in the evening, and see some styling options and of course try the food options (it was too hard to choose) On the run up we were assigned a wedding coordinator- Emilie, who was wonderful. We had a sit down meeting in person and discussed everything and she fulfilled everything we wanted on the day. All of the serving and bar staff was professional and friendly on the day too. The bedrooms were comfortable and spacious, breakfast the following morning was included too for all the guests, again amazing! Only down side was that the room were very cold in the morning, (we got married in November) The venue itself is a country manor and well maintained, grounds are well kept, the bar, toilets and main room were perfect and clean to an excellent standard. We had a fantastic experience at this venue and would highly recommend any couples to seriously consider them for their wedding. The budget for the venue and rooms at the time of booking was perfect for us and was very good value for money. Even though it was smaller and more unassuming than other venues we looked at, it certainly did not disappoint on the wow factor. The house and gardens are beautiful and were a wonderful back drop for our photos and for our guests to enjoy on the day. The cosy layout of the place really bought our guests together which lent itself to us having a great atmosphere on the day. The food also had many compliments as well as the service on the day. We first walked round the venue in May 2023 and completely fell in love with it. We booked a couple of days later and since we booked nothing was too much trouble. We had a lot of changes to our wedding package and every change we had was met with ‘of course we can do that for you’. The whole team were fantastic at responding to many email queries I had, no matter how small they were. Joanne was incredible helping us make the small changes so the day reflected us and Andrea was amazing on the day. EMELIE and the team at Cockliffe Country House Hotel were absolutely amazing 👏. Our whole day run like a dream 😍. From providing coffee and tea in the morning to breakfast on the Sunday the team made sure we were all looked after from the minute we got to the venue. We truly had the most perfect wedding day at this beautiful venue. It was so relaxed and effortless. Andrea was amazing and sorted everything for us. I didn't feel any stress at all. All the staff were just so lovely, friendly and kind, we really felt they were happy in what they were doing and it really showed. We loved the little touches like the sparklers and fire pits as well as some fizz when getting ready! . Having everything in one location was just great. The rooms were an added bonus and loved having the family all stay over with and awesome breakfast in the morning. The atmosphere was just great. We just had the most special day and everyone loved it. Food was amazing too!
