Cloghan Castle

Cloghan Castle is rented on an exclusive, self-catering basis only and features 7 luxurious double bedrooms; Banquet Hall seating 120 guests; Drawing Room upstairs with large open fireplace; Barbeque facility on battlement and a fully-equipped Kitchen. We hope to make it as easy as possible for you, our guests, to organise your wedding, party or event at Cloghan Castle. Some couples may be put off with the prospect of having to arrange a wedding in a self-catering venue and maybe from abroad, however it is very do-able, and we are sure our information pack will be of great help to you in the co-ordination of your event. Civil ceremonies can now be performed right here in the castle. A Blessing is also an option depending on your circumstances. Walk up the aisle on red carpet and exchange vows in front of a blazing fire surrounded by family and friends with the comfort of knowing that once you have become husband and wife and "sealed it with a kiss" you can relax and enjoy the party right here in the same building! Be King and Queen of your own castle and host a banquet for you and your guests. Enjoy a truly authentic medieval experience in the lap of luxury. Our Banquet Hall can seat up to 120 guests for a sit down meal and measures 29ft X 44.5ft. It has a 9ft 10” high ceiling.
