We had our wedding in May and it was out of this world. From the minute we met Ebony and booked the wedding she was exceptional. Nothing was too much, our day was better than we could have ever imagined, every single one of our guests said it was the best wedding they had ever been too. Ebony, Nic and their team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was absolutely perfect. They accommodated everything we asked, from our dog being a suprise ring bearer, making sure I was able to suprise our children with their own vows, every single activity still going ahead despite the rain, helping decorate the aisle and the venue the day before, the most incredible bird display and our suprise singers. Nothing was too much trouble. Every single member of their team, especially the bar staff who made sure the drinks were constantly flowing. We can’t put into words just how grateful we are. Cheshire Woodland Weddings is honestly one of the most gorgeous places you could choose for a wedding. The woodland ceremony area is stunning, calm, magical, and completely different to the usual venues. The activities throughout the day were such a laugh, and the bird show was unbelievable. Our guests haven’t stopped talking about it. But the absolute star of the whole experience was Ebony. My wedding day simply wouldn’t have been what it was without her. She comes as part of the wedding package, and thank god she does. In the lead‑up she handled my million questions, coordinated what felt like a thousand suppliers, and somehow kept everything running smoothly without ever making me feel like I was being a nightmare. And on the day? She was everywhere, sorting everything, making sure every detail was perfect — she even stood in horse poo for the cause! (sorry Ebony ☺️) because I’d hired a horse and carriage. Honestly where do we start? We had the most incredible day of our lives on the 2nd May 2026 💚 What can we say about the venue? It had everything a fun couple could dream of! The setting is an absolute dream. Breathtaking even. It was absolutely perfect for us, getting married in woods under the chirping birds and sunlight through the trees. The activities, our guests could NOT stop talking about for weeks. We had words of ‘this is the best wedding we have ever been to!’. A truly unique day and experience for all. The whole team were absolutely fantastic. From Ebony and Alex, to the Cheshire Outdoors team, the bar team for perking me up when I was crashing, and of course the falconry. The incredible Jess the barn owl delivered our rings and offered quite the show during the falconry display! That was a GREAT surprise to our guests which we kept a secret. How many weddings have you been to that feel like cookie-cutter venues? There’s nothing wrong with them, but for us, they all kind of blend into one. That’s exactly why we booked Cheshire Woodland Weddings. We wanted something a little different, with a lot more to do, and all for around the same price as most of the other venues we looked at. It’s an incredible ceremony venue set at the edge of a forest, with stunning views and a peaceful, natural vibe. There’s a brilliant barn for your wedding breakfast and evening do, with plenty of space to comfortably accommodate over 100 guests. And then there are the activities, which were amazing. Archery, air rifles, axe throwing, mini golf, Segways, and a whole range of fun little games were available throughout the day. To top it all off, we were treated to a 45-minute falconry display that everyone absolutely loved. Just be ready to endure whatever weather you get dealt on the day. We were fortunate enough to have a warm, dry day at the end of May, but being an outdoor venue, a bit of flexibility is key. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about what a fantastic venue it was and how much fun they had. Located in Blakemere, the venue also has the huge advantage of having other essential things right on hand. The Blakemere Hideaway lodges were the perfect place to stumble back to at the end of the night, just a two-minute walk across the car park. The Village Restaurant, also on site, provided delicious canapés, a three-course wedding breakfast, and an evening BBQ, all at very reasonable prices. You

The venue is simply beautiful, and the activities on offer kept all the guests entertained and made it clear it was not a 'normal' and 'stuffy' wedding. We have had so many comments from the guests about how fun the wedding was and how much people enjoyed it being different and unique; the owls in particular were a bit hit! The team were so welcoming, warm, and professional, and made us feel like nothing was too much trouble. Our wedding at Cheshire Woodland Weddings, was everything we ever dreamt of and more. Do not let the weather put you off when considering this venue. We had all seasons but snow, and yet we would not change anything. The rain added to the magic of the ceremony, the sun came out during the activities, and biblical rain during our meal, it was great! The staff were overly accommodating with the weather, so again do not worry. The staff were able to accommodate change quickly, making sure that myself and my bridesmaids kept dry before the ceremony. Ebony was amazing, cannot say much more. She was quick to respond to queries before the wedding, and on the day ensured everything ran like clockwork. Ebony allowed me to relax during the day, and handled everything to the finest detail.
