KayAugust 2026
I got married at Chateau Rhianfa in July 2026, and absolutely everything about the experience was perfect, from beginning to end. We first met with Elin to discuss the wedding packages they offer and tour the hotel. We quickly realised that it was definitely the right location for us; the grounds are lovely, the views are spectacular and the interior of the hotel is wonderful. We chose the elopement package, which allows up to 8 guests. We had the best afternoon tea I've ever had upon arrival the day before, and stayed in the Duchess Suite. It was well-equipped and extremely comfortable, with plenty of space for our many bags! The bath in the bay window is fantastic and I loved watching the sunset from the bath. The shower is also lovely, with luxurious toiletries supplied. Breakfast was very nice, with a self-serve continental and table service for hot food. A lot of the food appears to have been locally sourced, and was all very nicely presented and cooked. Our actual wedding was completely seamless. From our initial meeting right through to the day after our wedding, Elin was just fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was attentive, kind and so helpful. Communication was excellent throughout, with several meetings to ensure she had all the details, and on the day of our wedding Elin popped into our room a few times to check that everything was ok and on track, and even brought some jugs of water for us, as it was a very hot day. In addition to Elin, every single member of staff at the Chateau was wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure we had an excellent experience. Even though they run many weddings each year, and we only had 8 guests, we were treated as though ours was the most important wedding they'd hosted. Nothing was too much trouble for anyone, and everyone went to extremes to ensure that the day went smoothly. I think even to this day, we're unaware of things that happened behind the scenes for us! Dinner was excellent. The staff had laid the table beautifully, following our seating plan and placed our name places, wedding favours and flowers beautifully. The food was all delicious and the courses were timed perfectly. For breakfast the following morning, the staff had laid out a table for us and our guests who stayed at the Chateau with our flowers, which was a lovely touch. If you're considering having your wedding there, I highly recommend it!
