Borris House is not a hotel, it is private and unique and offers you and your guests total exclusivity. As such all our weddings are bespoke and are as far removed from the "wedding factory production line" as you can imagine! We will sit down with you to help you choose exactly what you want for your wedding. It is your special day and we are here to make it happen the way that you want it. Set within 650 acres of old parkland and native woodland, Borris Demense is completely unique and the walled estate with electric gates will offer you and your guests total privacy and exclusivity. Considered to be one of the finest houses in Ireland, Borris House has great charm: with family portraits, antique furniture, crackling log fires and warm hospitality. The house has four reception rooms, which are spacious and stunningly enhanced with decorative plasterwork dating back from 1812 and considered to be some of the finest examples of Irish craftsmanship in the country. An impressive round hallway sets the tone, while the drawing room and smaller sitting room combine elements of grandeur with a pleasant country atmosphere and the dining room with its elegant interior impresses everyone. Borris Demense provides the ideal surroundings for you to spend quality time for a short-term rental, anniversaries and celebrations, or a bespoke event.
