After looking for somewhere local and good value for money, we decided to take a look around the Bishops Golf Course Club. From start to finish we had a great experience and would definitely recommend it to other couples. They were very accommodating and have great facilities for all including the ramp access and toilets for disabled guests. The food was gorgeous and everyone who joined

We had the most amazing experience having our wedding reception with Bishopswood! We are incredibly grateful we chose to have our reception here. The food was absolutely amazing we had so many guests comment on how nice it was. Being a coeliac I honestly couldn’t thank you enough for how well they catered for me making sure it was all safe for me to eat and honestly the buffet was delicious! Staff friendliness is one of the main things that made us choose Bishopswood right at the beginning as we felt so listened to and everything seemed easy and chilled which has really made this whole experience stress free for us. Just to say we cannot thank Sam and Kathryn enough for their excellent service and making our Wedding Day special. Sam was helpful and friendly.Suggesting.which room to use, sending choices of menus, giving us time to get our numbers together and offering great advice. .Kathryn was involved with setting up the room, tables and settings , well ready for our finishing touches .The room looked beautiful. The promise of good food and service was exactly what we got.Delicious and plentiful. Much praise to the Chef and Staff.Nothing too much trouble .Plenty room for 80 guests. Dance floor good size and plenty of room for the Disco and Karaoke..Atmosphere amazing . There are beautiful grounds around the Golf club ideal for photographs. Also a little bridge over a small pond. Fortunately the weather was so good that the guests could mill around outside.. Staff helped us to clear away our things . Professional to the end .
