Nestled on the edge of Dartmoor, yet just off the A38, Ashmoor House is being lovingly reimagined as a country house wedding venue, with renovations completing in early 2027. The sister venue to the multi-award-winning Barn at Pengelly in Cornwall, Ashmoor House brings the same family-run warmth and attention to detail to Devon. We're transforming this existing venue from the ground up, with sweeping views across Dartmoor forming the backdrop to your day, whether you say "I do" outdoors overlooking the moor or celebrate inside. At the heart of the redesign is classic round-table banqueting, giving your wedding breakfast a timeless, sociable feel where every guest is part of the occasion. We're also creating a dedicated Glam Room, the perfect space to get ready with your wedding party before the day begins. Ashmoor House offers space for up to 200 seated guests, and 250 evening reception guests, with 10 bedrooms and a Honeymoon Suite on site so you and your loved ones can stay together for the whole celebration. From your first enquiry to your last dance, our dedicated wedding co-ordination team will be by your side, taking care of the details so you can simply enjoy the day.
