Anglers is a wonderful venue, and the team especially Alison are fantastic to deal with incredibly helpful, patient and understanding. Alison arranged a lovely COVID wedding for us, it was so good our family and friends are still talking about it and have looked at doing something similar, the food was amazing as always! I can't believe how quickly the year has passed since I enjoyed the most gorgeous day of my life; my wedding reception in the Anglers Rest. And I'm embarrassed I never got around to sending a word of thanks to you and all your staff for that day (1st Spetember 2012, Peter & Róisín) for being so friendly and attentive. There was literally nothing I would change about our experience in the Anglers Rest. The food was simply delicious! I was prompted to send this email by our recent anniversary dinner (Sat 21st). My only other visit, around my birthday, was lovely. And I'd been dying to go back! Suffice to say, the food and ambience was perfect and exactly what made me fall in love with the place from the beginning. Thank you so much for such an amazing wedding in the Angler's. It was exactly as we hoped it would be and everyone really enjoyed the day. Our ceremony was so special in the lovely room upstairs and the flowers you set out were abso gorgeous. Oliver, Tom and all the staff were so brilliant. The food was fantastic. You were so lovely to work with and so helpful with everything. I'd highly recommend the Angler's as an intimate wedding venue to anyone.
