My name is Yvonne and I am a photographer based in Lisdoonvarna, County Clare. I am wife to Frank, mom to Freddie, sister to three crazy ladies and three very cute Yorkies call my house their ‘Forever Home’. I grew up in the very beautiful Ballyvaughan with the Wild Atlantic Way and The Burren on my doorstep.I’ve always loved art, photography in particular and after graduating from Dun Laoghaire Institute of Art, Design and Technology with a diploma in Commercial Photography I returned home and spent five years working as a photojournalist with The Clare People Newspaper. I decided to focus more on lifestyle photography with weddings quickly becoming my passion and as a result I opened up my own studio in Lisdoonvarna in 2011. My style is relaxed, natural and fun…. Coming from a photo-journalistic background means couples are posed as little as possible, instead I prefer to capture the day naturally as it unfolds in a relaxed and easy-going way. I’m one of the lucky ones, I LOVE what I do and because of this I can offer my clients fun filled, elegant and timeless photographs that they will love and treasure for the rest of their lives.
