If you are looking for an extra splash of magic to look back on your day, Thomas is the videographer for you. As soon as I watched his work on instagram, I knew it had to be Thomas we hired. His work is original, incredible standard and makes you feel like a movie star. What I loved about his previous work was how he captured the personalities of the couples he worked with - and when we saw our own video it was no different! He captured the heart of US and our wedding just perfectly. Thomas showed up promptly, dressed smart and worked wonderfully with our photographer for a double whammy of also excellently lit photos! Thomas and his partner ensured they were there from the start of our wedding, even arriving early to get shots of the venue before hand for our final video, right to the very end for our first dance! My partner Maxime and I asked Thomas Edison Films to create a cinematic film to capture our current lives in London. Thomas and his creative partner curated a day plan for us, which we then helped contribute to, that would take us to sites across London that are special to us. The day passed in no time, as we went to several different locations for stills and video filming. Thomas is a natural, capturing quiet, bustling and romantic moments across the city. He and his colleague were attentive but also gave the space for the moments captured to feel genuine and romantic. Often we forgot that they were even there - which is testament to how they manage to create a special atmosphere while also remaining conscientious and focused on their work as we relaxed and enjoyed the moments. It's always with some nerves that you await the outcome - will the shots be captured in the way you want them? Will the video capture those special moments? Will it have some drama while also feeling authentic with moments of humour and relaxation? Maxime and I were so impressed by the video: we've watched it so many times both alone and with family and friends. In due course we will also look to get a few of the most special photos printed and framed, and likely also use them for engagement notices in the post in the future. Thomas and his team also worked quickly and efficiently to turn around the most important photos and the film, and gave us ample opportunity to give our own creative feedback and suggest changes.
