Cooleanig, Beaufort, Kerry Description Riona began her career in photo- journalism having her work published in both local and national newspapers. She also began doing magazines and commercial work. In 1998, she opened her own gallery in Killorglin, Co. Kerry, where she began selling her own work which included landscapes, portraits and black and white photography. In 1998, she opened her own gallery in Killorglin, Co. Kerry, where she began selling her own work which included landscapes, portraits and black and white photography. Following a request from a friend to photograph his sister's wedding, Riona became involved through popular demand in wedding photography. She soon discovered that she had a natural flair for this type of work which combined her talent as a photographer with her enthusiasm for working with people. Riona brings her own individual style to her work and she likes to marry both the conventional and the unconventional to produce a unique record of the most important day for the bride and groom.
