My name is Mary O'Donovan and I am a Professional Family Celebrant, specialising in Weddings,Vow Renewals and Baby Naming Ceremonies. I am also an accredited member of the Irish Institute of Celebrants (IIOC) and have had extensive professional training. I graduated with a distinction and a commendation in story telling and creative writing .I will openly admit to being a hopeless romantic!, completely in love with love and it is an absolute joy for me to deliver a ceremony that reflects a couple’s unique love and commitment to each other. Your wishes for your ceremony are paramount to me and I will do my best to facilitate them all. I have a wide selection of readings, poetry and vows that may help you in your choices for your own ceremony, but of course, you are not limited – you can choose your own. I will work with you to craft your own unique love story to share with you and your guests. I’ve been in the Wedding Industry for 14 years as a videographer and editor in our family business. This experience has given me a great insight into what couples want, and indeed, don’t want on their day. This insight led me to become a Celebrant. I consider it a great honour and privilege to be part of a couple’s Wedding Day. It is so amazing to be in the presence of such love and absolute joy.
